Choose smaller carrots if you like a sweeter taste, else you can choose longer carrots, too.
You should choose fresh carrots for consumption, as they are not only crunchier, but taste better too. Break the tip of the carrot, and if it breaks easily, then it is fresh.
Carrot is a root vegetable, therefore, it is very important to wash it nicely to get rid of any traces of soil.
Ideally, you can scrape a carrot, but do not scrape the skin completely, as most of the vital nutrients are present in the skin.
Carrots are versatile vegetables, and thus, you can not only eat them raw or in a cooked form but also use them in pureed, shredded or chopped form to cook various kinds of dishes.
Risks of Having Carrots or Carrot Juice While Pregnant
Though eating raw carrots during pregnancy is considered safe, and does not pose any threat to you or your unborn baby, there are some risks associated with consuming carrots or carrot juice in pregnancy.
Let us discuss what may possibly go wrong:
The excessive amounts of beta-carotene in your system may prove to be fatal. If you eat more than required amounts of carrots during pregnancy then you may put yourself at the risk of having cancer.
Carrots are orange or red in colour, and thus, when you consume them in higher amounts your skin colour may turn pale or yellow. This is because carrots contain a substance called carotene and excessive amounts may cause a skin condition called carotenemia.
More than required amounts of Vitamin A may not be good for your baby’s health. When you consume high amounts of carrots, your body loads up on more Vitamin A than required, which can hamper or interfere with foetal growth and development.
Consumption of carrots may sometimes cause allergic reactions. It may lead to severe headaches, nausea, etc. You may need to exercise caution before adding carrots to your pregnancy diet.
If you are suffering from biliary tract infection in pregnancy, then it will be a good idea to keep from excessive consumption of carrots.
Drinking excessive amounts of carrot juice is also not good in pregnancy. Carrot juice in more than required amounts may cause headaches and lethargy.

1. Kale Salad
Ingredients
2 cups of kale
Shredded beets
Slicing up 1 cup of red cabbage
2/3 cup finely diced garlic
One-quarter cup of chopped broccoli florets.
Cut the red bell pepper into 1/4-inch pieces and add them to the mixture.
0.5 ounces of sprouting broccoli
A total of 14 cups of sprouted seeds of all kinds (peas, lentils, garbanzo beans)
A half-cup of finely sliced leeks
A quarter of a cup of kernels of sunflower seeds
The olive oil is two teaspoons.
One garlic clove
Salt with kosher salt to taste
Freshly squeezed two teaspoons of lemon juice
Apple cider vinegar (or balsamic vinegar)
How to Make
Season the greens and lemon juice with salt and olive oil before serving. Knead the mixture for about 2 to 3 minutes until the kale has softened.
Mix all of the vegetables in a large mixing basin until thoroughly combined.
Combine the vinegar and the remaining olive oil in a small bowl and set aside.
Using a garlic press, mince the clove and add it to the olive oil and vinegar mixture, mixing well to incorporate. Make sure that all of the vegetables are covered with the sauce equally before serving.
Season with salt and pepper to your desire.
To serve the salad, divide it into two parts and place them on excellent plates.
To decorate the salads, sprouts, sprouted seeds, and sunflower seed kernels should be placed on the lettuce and tomato slices. Serve fresh!
2. No-bake Granola Bar
Ingredients
Brown sugar with a hint of butter
Vanilla - a drop
Honeys Oats – combine them
Frozen or canned fruits
Almond pieces
Peanuts - a handful
Seeds from sunflowers
Crispy Rice Treats - few bits
How to Make
After removing the baking dish from the oven, brush the inside with melted butter to finish it off.
Brown sugar, vanilla, and honey combine in a saucepan with melted butter to make a delicious dessert.
Before using the components, they must be thoroughly combined to ensure the complete dissolution of the mixture.
Combine the oats, dried fruits, almonds, peanuts, sunflower seeds, and rice crisps in a large mixing bowl until everything is well-combined, about 10 minutes.
In a separate bowl, whisk the butter mixture and the remaining ingredients until everything is thoroughly combined.
Make a bar out of the remaining ingredients.
If possible, place the granola bars in the refrigerator for at least an hour before eating them.
To finish it off, you can sprinkle some chocolate chips on top if you so desire.
3. Cashew Nut Cookies
Ingredients
1/4 cup unsweetened coconut meal
1/2 cup cashew butter
1/2 teaspoon unsweetened vanilla extract
2/3 oz vanilla bean extract
1/4 teaspoon Stevia extract or a mixture of 3/4 green stevia powder
1 cup uncooked, finely chopped sunflower seeds
How to Make
Put the coconut meal in a shallow bowl and set it aside.
To make the dressing, add the remaining ingredients in a large mixing bowl in the following order: For best results, chill the mixture for a few minutes if it is too mushy to mold into little balls.
For each little cookie, two teaspoons of cookie mixture should be used to make it.
Coconut meals may be rolled into balls and then dipped in the sauce for a tasty treat.
Squeeze the dough to form a one and half inch disc.
Allow cooling before storing in an airtight container.
Options include omitting the butterscotch flavor and increasing the amount of vanilla essence to one teaspoon.
4. Sunflower Seed Butter
Ingredients
Half cup raw, skinned and hulled sunflower seeds
Canola Oil (or similar oils)
One tsp of salt to your liking
How to Make
When it comes to pulverizing items, food processors outperform blenders, according to our testing results. Users of manual grinders are encouraged to make use of their equipment.
Finely grind the seeds into a paste in a food processor until they are entirely smooth. To get the correct consistency, it may be necessary to add a few drops of oil at a time.
If extra salt is required, adjust the seasoning accordingly (optional).
It's important to remember that nut butter produced at home may get rancid rapidly, so it should be kept refrigerated at all times.
It is best to make the butter in small batches to avoid wastage of ingredients.
What Are the Substitutes for Sunflower Seeds?
You may swap sunflower seeds with any of the following alternatives:
In place of sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds might be used. Pumpkin seeds are flexible and tasty, whether used as a garnish for salads or soups for preparing pumpkin seed butter.
Pine nuts, which have a delicate flavor but are often more expensive, may also be used instead of almonds.
Hazelnuts or walnuts are other good options for snacking throughout the day.
Sunflower seeds and pregnancy are very healthy choices. And these healthful gems may be eaten raw, roasted, or sprouted by anybody.

What Is the Pink Tax and How Can I Avoid Paying It?
Pink tax means the invisible or unseen price women pay for products marketed and designed specifically for them. The generic or male equivalents of the same products are priced much less. This phenomenon is pretty common globally; however, the prevailing question is why do women pay more?
What Is the Pink Tax?
We are in the year 2020, yet we hear of terms such as pink tax. The pink tax is nothing but the extra price women pay for certain products that are particularly manufactured for them. On average, the pink tax may cost a woman around $1,300 a year, affecting almost all daily activities from dry cleaning to shopping. Specific types of footwear, clothing, and gloves made for women are priced more. Also, a great example of pink tax would be a woman’s razor which costs more than a man’s razor. Women shampoos, haircuts, clothes, and many more cost a lot more than men’s products. Women are also frequently charged a higher interest rate on mortgage loans, even after consistently advanced credit ratings.
When Was the Pink Tax Started?
Many may wonder as to when the pink tax was introduced. The pink tax has existed since at least the early 1990s — and this is when California started its study about the problem. The U.S. formed the sales tax system between the 1930s and the 1960s. “It was a different world at that point of time when the legislators were trying to understand the products which need to be taxed and the products which need to be exempted,” states Laura Strausfeld, co-founder of an organization dedicated to fighting for menstrual equity.
There are also other explanations for tax on women’s products. One such reason is that prices on clothing imports for women are generally higher. Another reason is that the product design for women’s consumer goods is usually more extravagant or elaborate—advertising pink women’s razors, for example, increases the costs for a company, and the company, in turn, passes those costs down to the consumer.
A report from the state’s Assembly Office of Research in the year 1996 found that 64 percent of the shops in five major Californian cities charged a much higher price to wash and dry clean a woman’s blouse compared to a man’s button-up shirt. There are multiple reasons why the pink tax is applicable, comprising product discrimination, tariffs, and product differentiation. Certain types of footwear, clothing and gloves made for women are taxed at different levels when first entering the United States. Some people may argue that the product difference can explain the difference between the costs of women’s goods and men’s goods.
Certain products, such as the Radio Flyer scooter, are probably priced more because of the price incurred in modifying the product. Consider an example where a pink scooter may be priced more than a red scooter as it is costlier to paint a scooter pink than red. Also, this explains the large difference in production, where the red scooters are produced in large numbers while the pink scooters are not. However, there has never been any evidence that pink paint costs more than blue or red paints, thereby generating cost differences in color-coded items specific to different genders.
Examples of Pink Tax
It is quite tough to avoid the gender tax when it is not applied to things all have to purchase or pay for. Following are a few examples of things that a woman end up paying more for:
1. Clothing
An apparel brand was busted for having higher prices for women’s plus-size clothing than men’s. A pair of plus-sized women’s jeans was almost $12-$15 more than the ones that came in a standard size. However, it should be noted that there was no such difference between the prices of regular and plus-sized jeans for men.
The brand stated that the extra cost on the women’s pair of jeans was charged because it was designed by a team who were experts in designing the most flattering and on-trend plus styles. Women’s clothing typically cost more than men’s in close to six of seven categories, other than underwear, which cost an average of 29% more for men.
2. Dry Cleaning
Dry cleaning is typically a service where women pay more for the same service. Men’s shirts typically cost $2.86 for dry cleaning, and women’s shirts cost almost $4.95. However, a woman’s dress or shirt doesn’t require any different dry-cleaning method.
3. Self-care Products
Certain self-care products are purchased from drug stores, such as shaving creams, razors, face cleansers, deodorants, and so on. All these products are typically priced much more when they have the label “for women.”
4. Toys and Kids' Items
Regrettably, the pink tax pretty much starts at birth. Across the six product categories of toys, the girls’ items are steadily more expensive than the boys’. The most significant price discrepancy has been in knee/elbow pads and helmets for children.
5. Vehicle Repair
A study had women and men call various repair shops about the cost of having a car part replaced. Women who acted clueless on the phone were quoted significantly more for the replacement than men who behaved clueless for the same.
6. Business
Despite high credits, women usually receive less funding when they start a business. Also, women are often charged more for mortgages, car loans, and so on.
Why Does the Pink Tax Still Exist?
Research suggests that the pink tax still exists. Women are, in reality, paying a “pink tax” on most of their hygiene products. When the price is broken down to price per gram of product, we see that the products marketed to women are priced much higher than those marketed to men. In some instances, the products aimed towards women are priced more due to the small changes in manufacturing, such as color, the requirement of additional materials, etc. If a product needs different materials, it is usually manufactured on a smaller scale. In such a case, the cost of those additional materials may be distributed amongst fewer consumers, thus, increasing the price. Also, tariffs charged on importing international goods are typically higher for women’s products. Most of the United States’ apparel imports are typically gendered, and the average rate on women’s clothing is 15.1%, while men’s clothing is taxed at 11.9%.
How Do You Avoid Paying the Pink Tax?
Unfortunately, there is no easy solution to the Pink Tax issue. However, there are a few things you can learn on how to stop paying for pink.
1. Go gender-neutral
You can save money by purchasing gender-neutral products or those that are targeted toward men. You must understand that when you are purchasing something marketed especially for women, you may simply be paying for the packaging. This solution may not work for all, but it can help you avoid overpriced female-centric products such as shaving creams and shampoos. Whether it is shaving cream, razors, jeans, children’s toys, or laxatives, the reality is that manufacturing items that cost more specifically for women can be termed as discrimination.
2. Publicly call out brands
One way to end the pink tax is to call out the brands; you can raise the issue and tag such brands on social media. Brands should not disseminate a system of discriminatory gender-based costing.
3. Do your research on prices
When contemplating a huge purchase like a car or home, you must do your homework. Ensure that you understand the true value of the purchase you are making, and also look around and ask to find the best rates.
4. Support organizations with gender-neutral pricing
You could also support organizations with gender-neutral pricing and choose not to purchase products marketed specifically to women. One also has the option of getting in touch with local representatives to escalate the issue.
Why Are People Not Aware of the Pink Tax?
Keeping in mind that almost everyone is "woke" on social media these days, not many are aware of the pink tax. Only a few people are actually discussing the seriousness of the issue. The pink tax is usually hidden, and one would not realize paying a premium price unless they dig much deeper and begin comparing prices for each product that is available in the market. Since no law prevents this costing method, complete elimination and legal interference are not possible. This is probably why many people are not aware of the pink tax, and most have probably accepted this practice as a norm. However, now we know all about pin tax and the system of unfair pricing.
Marketers and brands must get to the bottom of problems women face instead of trying to soften the damage done with some gimmicky offers and discounts once a year. Despite living in the 21st century and having proved their worth time and again, women do not require an invisible cost to be paid for products that are necessities.

A. since the follicle size is 18 to 20 mm your ovulation may occur within 24 hours also so if you have intercourse with in that time it will be more effective to get conceived
your endometrial growth is not good enough for conception but still you can just try
