जुकाम फ्लू का कोई पक्का इलाज तो है नहीं ऐसे में जितना हो सके सावधानी बरतनी चाहिए ताकि इससे बचा जा सके।सबसे पहले तो जरूरी है रोगाणुओं (germs) से बचा जाए और इसके लिए जरूरी है हाथों की सफाई। सर्दी जुकाम के वायरस हाथों से ही एक जगह से दूसरी जगह एक इंसान से दूसरे इंसान तक पहुंचते हैं। हाथों से मुंह नाक तक पहुंच के बीमार कर देते हैं। इसके लिए मैंने अपने बेटे को सिखाया है कि अच्छे से हाथ साफ करो। जब भी छींको या तो रुमाल में या फिर बाजू को मोड़ कर कोहनी में ताकि रोगाणु हाथों पे न लगें। खाना खाने से पहले और बाद में, बाथरूम के इस्तेमाल के बाद, छींकने के बाद, स्कूल से और बाहर से खेल कर आने के बाद जरूर हाथों को अच्छे से साफ करो।
हाथों की अच्छे से सफाई के लिए मैं उसे कहती हूँ कि दो बार हैप्पी बर्थडे गाना गाने तक हाथ साफ करो। अच्छे से रगड़ कर हाथ साफ करने के बाद हाथ सुखाना भी उतना ही जरूरी है। मैं उसके नाखून भी नियमित काटती हूँ कहीं बढ़े हुए नाखून में रोगाणु अपना घर न बना लें।
घर से बाहर अगर कभी साबुन नहीं है तो सैनिटाइजर या वाइप्स से भी हाथ साफ कर सकते हैं। नैना भाभी बड़े गौर से मेरी बातें सुन रही...कहने लगी और बताओ। सच मे मैंने कभी इस तरह तो सोचा ही नहीं ।
सर्दियों में धूप कम होने की वजह से हल्की सी सीलन हो जाती है ऐसे में कीटाणु रोगाणु ज्यादा फैलते हैं तो जिन चीजों को हम और बच्चे दिन में बार बार छूते हैं जैसे कि फ़ोन, दरवाजे के हैंडल, बच्चों के खिलौने उनकी नियमित सफाई करनी चाहिए। नैना भाभी ने कहा ..वो तो मैं करती हूं। हाँ भाभी ..लेकिन मैं धूल मिट्टी की सफाई की नहीं रोगाणु कीटाणु की सफाई की बात कर रही हूूँ । इसके लिए आप वाइप्स का इस्तेमाल कर सकती हैं। पर ध्यान रहे एक ही वाइप को हर जगह इस्तेमाल न करे इससे भी रोगाणु फैलेंगे। बल्कि एक जगह पर एक वाइप का इस्तेमाल करें ।
सफाई का ध्यान रखने के साथ साथ बच्चों की इम्युनिटी बढ़ाने के उपाय करने चाहिए। जैसे कि बच्चों को फायटोन्यूट्रिएंट्स खिलाने चाहिए जो शरीर की रोग से लड़ने की क्षमता को बढ़ाते हैं। गहरे रंग के फल सब्जियां जैसे टमाटर पालक स्वीट पोटैटो।
धूप की शक्ति को तो आप जानती ही हैं। सर्दियों में बच्चों को धूप में जरूर खेलना चाहिए इससे विटामिन डी भी मिलता है।खेलने और एक्टिव रहने से भी सर्दी जुकाम से बचाव रहता है।
बच्चों का पूरी नींद लेना भी जरूरी है। आपको पता है डॉक्टर कहते हैं जो बच्चे पूरी नींद नहीं लेते उनकी रोग से लड़ने की क्षमता और वाइट ब्लड सेल्स में कमी आ जाती है। बस भाभी इन छोटी छोटी बातों का ध्यान रखती हूं अपने लाडले की अच्छी सेहत के लिए।
नैना भाभी ने कहा... बहुत बहुत शुक्रिया मुझे ये सब बताने के लिए। बातें भले ही छोटी हैं पर इनका असर बड़ा है। आज से मैं भी इन सब बातों का ध्यान रखूंगी। अच्छा तो अब चलती हूँ। फिर मिलेंगे।

Last but not the least all your, all the husbands out there, please support your wives because then she will be more confident. Also, make sure, that your child gets his vaccinations on time, as it is vital, and don't compromise on that even if you have a money crunch.
Please give me some of your suggestions too, as I've become a father just 25 days back.
Also, when your child is old enough to understand everything, please be polite to him and give the best education to them. Always be with them and help them out with their studies. Don't send them to take tuitions as you are the one who knows the strengths and weaknesses of your child best.

A. A lot of times normal delivery is actually seen in these cases also if the doctor is quick and the child cooperate then yes normal delivery is very much possible but some doctors don’t take a chance with the health of your child and so they normally suggest C-section so let’s see what’s your situation by the end when you are into your labour
