The real dilemma comes when we introduce solid foods. Here am going to share few recipes which you can try feeding your little ones. These are the recipes which i give to my baby you can take ideas from here and prepare according to your preference. As days pass you will definitely know what your baby really likes to eat and prepare accordingly.
1) Mashed green peas:
Ingredients:
5 to 6 tbsp of green peas
Unsalted butter/ghee
Preparation:
Boil the green peas untill fully cooked. After it gets cooled down grind to a smooth paste form. Add a tsp of ghee or unsalted butter. A pinch of jeera( optional) which is good for digestion and to avoid flatulence.
2) Ragi/Finger millet porridge:
Ingredients:
2 tbsp of raagi
1/2 tsp of chickpeas or channa or chole in hindi. You can add any of your desired sprouts.
Few pieces of beetroot or carrot.
1/4tsp of jaggery or palm jaggery.
1tsp of ghee or clarified butter.
Preparation:
Take the raagi millet in a bowl. Add little water and mix it firmly so as to avoid lumps. Add the sprouts and vegetables. Place in a cooker untill two whistles or you can evn boil the ragi and veggies separately. It should be cooked well. After it gets cooled add the jaggeryor plam jaggery ( best one) its Rich source of calcium and grind to a smooth paste finally add ghee.
2)Tasty apple puree:
Ingredients:
Few peices of apple.
Unsalted butter
Preparation:
Peel the apple skin first. Boil the apple pieces untill its fully cooked. After cooling grind into a paste from. To this you can add unsalted butter or ghee. No need of any sweeter to this.
3)Ragi porridge with banana:
Ingredients:
2 tbsp of ragi millet
One small banana
Preparation:
mix the raagi millet in the same way as said in the 2nd recipe. After cooling grind to a smooth paste. add a banana and grind again. Add a tsp of ghee. Banana gives a natural sweetness to it.
4)Mixed Dhal/lentils with rice or veggies:
Ingredients:
2tbsp of lentils. Its can be green gram/Yellow lentils/Red lentils or anything of your choice.
2tbsp of rice(optional)
Jaggery and ghee.
Preparation:
Add nicely cooked lentils to cooked rice. Mash it òr grind it to a smooth form. Add a small piece of palm jaggery and ghee. you can also add two boiled spinach leaves or any other leafy vegetables for your choice.
You can also give separate purees of fruits like mashed banana, apples, musk mellon and so on..

I have mentioned ghee and jaggery in all the recipes as they are a rich source of nutrients.
Ghee or butter is very beneficial for the brain development also helps to boost the metabolism. Ghee is very rich in omega three fatty acids.
Jaggery especially the palm jaggery is a rich source of calcium which is very esential for overall growth of the babies.
Greeny leafy vegetables are rich in fibers. Very good to avoid constipation.
Lentils are rich source of proteins.

Well, beautiful skin sets the foundation for your makeup; if your hair is cooperative, you can style it just the way you like it; and of course you want to show off that lovely outfit you’ve been dying to wear ever since you set eyes on it!
But there’s some work that needs to happen in the background to get these things in order! Follow these tips to look your best when you step out for a date night with your beloved!
1. Skin Health
It’s probably just a couple of days in a year where you might want to take the extra effort to doll up instead of sporting an ashen face, panda eyes, and cracked lips! Make V-day an occasion to deck up for your partner by caring for your skin a few days in advance.
Start with hydration. If you don’t drink enough water in a day, your skin quality starts to decrease. It becomes dry, leads to more breakouts because toxins are not getting flushed out, and also is a cause for chapped lips.
Drinking water isn’t the only thing you need to do to hydrate your skin - invest in a good moisturiser and use it twice a day to nourish your skin. The results of proper hydration start showing in very little time, so start immediately.
Before leaving the house during the day, check off a few things - keys, your phone, your child’s things, and also, whether or not you’ve applied sunscreen! We know we don’t need to harp on the benefits of using sunscreen but here’s a note - makeup products with SPF don’t count as substitutes for the real thing! Indulge in an at-home steam facial too, using a vapouriser available at any pharmacy; 5 sessions of 2 minutes each, with breaks in between for your skin to breathe, is perfect. Apply a homemade face mask afterwards, to seal the deal. Exfoliation clears your skin of dead skin cells, steam opens up your pores, and a good face mask hydrates the skin and gives it that rosy glow!
Nourish your skin from within by paying attention to your diet. Certain foods can do wonders for your skin health, while some, not so much. Cut back (don’t quit instantly though!) on sugar and spicy foods for a couple of days. Fill your diet with almonds, broccoli, strawberries, citrus fruits, leafy greens, and even dark chocolate (less than 20 grams a day).

Pull back your hair into a loose bun when you go to bed, such that it’s not flying about all over the place and getting entangled and knotted. The subsequent brushing process the next day will be nothing short of a battle - in which neither you or your hair will win!
Also, before going to bed, massage your scalp gently with your fingertips for a little while. This promotes healthy blood circulation which will nourish the roots of your hair, making it healthier from within.

Watch your calorie intake. A lot of times, you may think you’re eating healthy but calories may be finding methods to work their way into your body. Also, watch out for liquid calories such as milk and sweetened beverages!
Drink up! Chug down some water at least half an hour before every meal. This helps cut down your appetite and prevents you from reaching out for those second helpings.
