India in 21st century : Is it safe for a girl child?
Rape, molestation, harassment, abuses and many more.... things a woman facing in her day today life. Everyday when I turnover the pages of newspaper, check social media feel ashamed for all such stuffs. Is it the India we have dreamed for ??? A big question to all of us. This only indicate that we are surrounded by sick mentality people. Somewhere it's also the failure of system and laws. If such cases continues can we imagine what type of India we are going to gift our next generation.
Candle March, protestations, posting these stuffs on social media may not be the permanent solution to the problems. So what can we do ??? Increase in such crimes implies the unsafetyness of a girl child irrespective of age is a major threat to the society. I was in shock when came to know about the rape case happened with the 3 months old baby. This only indicate sick intention towards a baby girl, nothing else. Let's try to stop these by taking few steps.
Firstly respect the ladies around you whether She is your mother or wife. Kids learn from home. They will learn how to behave with woman. Also parents should be friendly in nature with their kids as they are grown up.
Secondly we should teach our boys to be humble and to change the look after the girls of their age. This can be possible if sexual education classes should be introduced in school.
Thirdly implement of strong laws against such cases can stop it. As there is no strong law against such crime so it is increasing day by day. Strong law will induce fear which can inhibit such cases.
Lastly, many times I have seen in Indian families, while they put restrictions for girl child but not the same for boy child. It's time to treat both of them equal. Small things also have remarkable come back. Start from own house and one day India will be safe for girl child. And after that we can proudly say that we live in a country where our girls are able to go out of their house irrespective of time. That will be a day we celebrate as true Independence day. Read more

Motherhood.the struggle and sacrifices behind it..
The journey from being independentwomen to mother..
It was a festive day Vaisakhi the important festival for Punjabis. My father who was no more was born was vaisakhi. My mother had a dream after my marriage that my baby will be born on Vaisakhi. Her intuition becomes true.
My daughter born on 13 April 2016 and my mom lovingly call her vaisakha singh
I smiled whole night upon seeing my baby it was like dream come true.
It was day my life changed completely.I left my job and decided to give my full time and energy to my angel
Journey from being free birds to responsible parents begin. My husband was working at shimla and I was doing job at Chandigarh..We enjoyed our independant lives with long distance relationship
My motherhood begins..
Intially it was very tiring. No sleep no routine but felt good with the sweet feeling of being mother and then I decided to put routine for us
Wake up early, meals on time and play time again nap time..My daughter get used to this routine after some struggle..i felt bad sometimes to be hard on her but I have other responsibilities the responsibility of being daughter in law.
I remember when she started saying papa so ealry although mom takes care more than father
From taking care of her diet that includes soups, porridge ,banana, curd to her physical development that is rolling ,sitting ,crawling to walking I was very courious about.
Then schooling begins..it was again mother's role to help her child read and write
And now in this coronavirus pandemic I have to become her teacher also.
As she is growing up with time sharing a strong unbreakable emotional bond with me I love this motherhood despite the hard work and struggle beging it
So everyone enjoy this motherhood.. Read more

Melt your Muffin Top with these Waist Whittling Diet Tips
What diet should be taken to reduce belly fat? Get toned and tight with some essential eating habits. Say “hello” to rapid weight loss and “goodbye” to your no-pack—c’mon, your 'wow' pack is on its way!
Tired of what you see when you look in the mirror? These diet plans and strategies can help you get flatter abs and a much trimmer waist with no belly fat. You just need to practice these plans regularly, and absolutely no snooping around the fridge at nights for sinful treats!
Healthy Diet Tips to Reduce Belly Fat
1. Skip on Large Meals, Eat 5-6 Times Daily
If you plan to cut down on weight by gorging upon large meals two to three times every day (with big gaps in between), it is bound to backfire. A more effective diet plan for flat abs will entail consuming your total calories in the form of small meals, spread across five to six times a day. To burn fat effectively and enjoy stable blood-sugar levels, remember to intersperse your mealtimes with a nutritious snack or meal. This will also keep hunger-induced cravings at bay!
2. Amount of Protein in Flat Stomach Diet Plan
High protein foods like red meat, egg whites, turkey, chicken, and cottage cheese can boost your metabolic rates. But different people need different amounts of protein. If you have a 9 to 5 desk job or don't walk to your workplace, then you should consume 0.8 to 1 gram of protein for each pound of lean mass. However, if you exercise regularly or are into sports, then you need slightly higher levels of protein to build lean muscle and lose fat. So, in case you desire to notch an ideal weight of 170 pounds, all you need to do is (say) multiply 170 by .8 to get 136 grams of protein intake. This translates to about 27 grams of protein for every meal, five times per day.
3. What About Carbs?
When planning a flat belly diet for women, dieticians and health experts may end up suggesting the best proven sources of carbs. But it's important not to restrict yourself to just those. Introduce yourself to a variety of carbs, simple sugars, potatoes, pasta, brown rice, and vegetables--while steering clear of candy bars and sugary cereals. Refrain from any overdoses of carb; two or three grams for each pound of body weight are enough!
4. Drink Ample Liquids
Your best flat abs diet plan would fail if you don’t drink enough water for changing consumed carbs into energy. Also, the essential amino acids required by muscle tissues don't reach their sweet spot without adequate water intake. Oh yes, you need to deliver sufficient liquids to your body to make your workout sessions and fat breakdown processes offer better results. Stay hydrated and don’t wait for thirst signals your system requires at least 10 glasses of water daily. Go for it!
The best diet to lose belly fat is obviously the one that you're capable of following on a long-term basis, without getting irritable or food-itchy. Chalk out what works best for you and start right away. You’ll be happy with the results! Read more

My Emotions Towards My Newborn and What to Expect After Birth
The emotions I felt towards my newborn was a little different for me. I expected to be head-over-heels in love with my little one once he/she arrived. Throughout my pregnancy, I'd watched so many birthing videos and saw the expressions and joy of a woman embracing motherhood for the first time. So, I too thought that I would be drenched with happy hormones. Surprisingly, I never experienced any such emotions. I felt the urge to see my baby so I pestered the nurse to bring her to me. Once I saw her, I was not overwhelmed but I was happy. I felt the urge to breastfeed the little one and establish the right latch position. My family in the hospital was overwhelmed and jumped with joy thanks to the birth of my daughter. However, I felt strange with my very own feeling and I could not sleep that night. Next day, I would get up, breastfeed my baby, and I slept; that was my routine for the next few days. After coming home from the hospital, almost a week later, for the first time, I felt like kissing my baby. I kissed her and realized, 'OMG! I am kissing my baby for the first time!' I wondered why I'd never kissed her the first time I saw her. So I would say, don’t be prepared for any kind of emotions. Let it be natural as the body knows what it needs.
This is my own experience and this does not apply for everyone. Every pregnancy and birth differs from woman to woman. So I understood it takes time to love and create a bond between a mother and her newborn. Give the body and the rushing hormones some time to settle down. Wait for your moment. I would say, do not expect any kind of emotions once you give birth. Wait for your body to settle down, and happy 'mommying' after that!

It Takes a Real Mother to Say, ''I Don't Know Everything!"
'It'll come to you naturally' - this is the phrase that I always got to hear whenever I asked anybody about being a mother or taking care of a child. And finally the day arrived when I finally got to begin this beautiful journey of motherhood; I was so ecstatic to be a mother, the flawless mother that I always have thought I would be. But then to my surprise I found myself in a state of dilemma, struggling to handle the cranky baby, and struggling really very very hard to breastfed the baby. I was so devastated and shattered. I started to blame myself for all the problems that I was facing. I started thinking that I don't have the right to be a mother if I didn't know how to breastfeed a baby, if I didn't know how to calm a cranky baby, if I didn't know whether the baby is hungry or full, because in everyone's opinion these things are supposed to come to you naturally when you become a mother. I felt as if there was a war going on inside me and I couldn't share my feelings with anyone.
Then something happened one day. After putting the baby to sleep, I was just going through my Facebook news feed and I saw an ad featuring Sonali Bendre. It said - It takes a real mother to admit that "No, I don't know everything". After watching that short clip I found myself at ease. It felt so good and I felt like God Himself had come to rescue me from my own thoughts. At that point I knew that no, it doesn't come to you naturally and it's okay if you are struggling to breastfeed your baby. You will grow as a mother along with the baby. Stop blaming yourself; just love your baby and love yourself. Things will fall into place.
