To use eucalyptus oil for a cold, put two drops of the oil on a tissue or cotton ball and keep it at a safe distance from your baby.

Motherhood is an experience that comes with its fair share of joys and pain. Taking care of the life growing inside you can be surreal, but many women go through pregnancy with bouts of pain and discomfort. One such pain that almost all women experience is coccyx pain in pregnancy, which is caused due to excessive or irregular pressure on the tailbone.
What Is Tailbone Pain?
Many pregnant women complain of backaches or aches in the pelvic region. These are just different types of coccyx pain. The pain in the tailbone during pregnancy is the most common type of pain experienced. As the weeks progress, the foetus grows. This increases the pressure in the lower extremities, resulting in aches.
It is perfectly normal to experience pain in the tailbone or coccyx during pregnancy, as it is obvious that as the months pass by, the baby will grow in size and push against the tailbone located at the end of the spine, just behind the uterus. This act of pushing will result in a certain degree of pain, which is most likely to increase in the months leading up to delivery. In some case, the pain will continue after delivery as well.

Torso twist: Sit cross-legged on a mat and hold your right foot with your left hand. Then, place your left palm on the floor and twist the upper part of your body. Stay in this posture for five seconds and repeat the same with the other foot. Repeat this 10-15 times.
Swimming: Swimming has always been a great exercise, and it can act as a remedy against tailbone pain during pregnancy.
Yoga: Yoga puts both the mind and body at ease and infuses the body with a different form of energy that can help fight different levels of pain. Yoga makes sure that the blood circulation inside the body takes place effectively and both mom and baby get the blood they need for healthy growth.

Tips for Maternal Care Post Delivery
After the initial buzz of a safe and healthy delivery settles down comes the most vivid and memorable days of motherhood. The moment the baby is out of the hospital, the new mother is at her wit's end. Whatever instructions/guidance were provided at the hospital seems outdated. 4. Food
Eat! Eat! Eat! Not just anything but normal homecooked food. Spices help in healing faster, so no need to cut them off from your palate, but again use them in moderation.
5. Hygiene
Do maintain basic hygiene. Change clothes if the baby poops/pees. Washing hands before feeding and after cleaning/washing is absolutely necessary. Clothing should be comfortable and inner garments should be 2 sizes bigger to facilitate feeding. Clean and dry your stitches as advised by the doctor and be in touch with the doctor if any itching/swelling appears near the stitches.
6. Water Intake
Drink plenty of water. Breastfeeding becomes easier with proper water intake. Keeping yourself hydrated helps in getting well soon.

Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associatedgn with fever and vomiting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

A. you will have to give ors for every episode of loose motion. you you cannot give heavy diet like milk to the child for few days as well as you cannot give sugar based food. you cannot give packet based foods as well as biscuit maida. kindly give curd buttermilk apple banana poha upma daliya. you can also give any recipe made from rice dal as well as sabudanxa khichdi. you cannot give outside juice as well as glucon d to the child. please meet your doctor because if it is viral or bacterial diarrhea will be confirmed only on examination.
give sachet econorm twice daily for 3days.
