How to Dress your Baby?
As your baby grows older and more active, dressing her up can become quite a challenge. But with these tips, dressing your baby needn’t be a stressful situation. In fact, it can be fun for the both of you!
Just when you think you’ve mastered the art of dressing your newborn, your baby decides to take a U-turn and throw all your practice out the window! Older babies are entirely different from their newborn selves and demand different treatment as well. At 4 months, they’re double their birth weight, their hands are quite strong, and they’ll grab anything within reach. Their necks are also sturdier, they can kick and may have begun rolling over. While you’ll be delighted at your little champ reaching his milestones, a fidgety baby on the changing table doesn’t make for an easy dressing up session! But babies are messy, and there’s no escaping changing their clothes several times during the day. To make things easier for both of you, here are some tried and trusted tips for dressing your baby.
Five Tips on Dressing a Baby
1. Get the basics right
The last thing you want to do is go about hunting for things with a fidgety baby in your arms. Set a regular spot for dressing your baby, with all his clothes and supplies within easy reach. 4-6 months old babies are usually dressed up lying down while older babies can sit up or stand. A change of clothes is usually preceded by a bath or bowel movement, so start with a clean diaper. During cold weather, keep baby covered with a blanket while dressing up.
2. Get the right clothes
Babies hate fussy clothes, and soft fabric is ideal for their sensitive skin. Try to stay away from zippers as they can snag skin and from buttons since they can be ingested. Snaps and tie-ups are best but consider the age of your child. While lying down, a t-shirt or one that opens in front is ideal. For babies, who sit, you can try clothes that open at the back. Try to get clothes without tags since they can irritate delicate skin.
3. Make it fun
If you’re dressing your baby after a bath, take the opportunity to apply some lotion and give his arms and legs a gentle massage. Sing songs to entertain your baby or hand him a rattle to distract him. Many moms put mobiles over the changing table, so that kids have something to look at while lying down.
4. Make it easy
Most babies hate their heads being held, so putting on t-shirts might be difficult. To make it easier, stretch the head opening with both your hands before slipping it over your baby’s head. Another problem area is inserting their arms into sleeve, try bunching up the sleeve and slipping it over baby’s hand, then un-bunch it by stretching it up his arm. Pants are relatively easier, but socks can be tricky. Again, try bunching the socks and then inserting his toes into the socks.
5. Make the clothes last
You’ve taken a lot of trouble to get your munchkin all dressed up, so try to make it last! Always make your baby wear a bib, so that all that drooling and spitting doesn’t soil his shirt. Ensure your baby’s bottom wear is easy to remove, so that you don’t have to take off his entire outfit just for a diaper change.
When shopping, it makes sense to buy clothes that are slightly larger, since babies grow pretty fast. For the same reason, it’s best to avoid extremely expensive clothes, since they’ll get outgrown quickly. Try to include older siblings and grandparents in the process, and dressing your baby will soon be one of the most-enjoyable parts of your day! Read more

Importance of Reading To 2 Year Old Toddlers
Parents often have mixed opinions about reading to their child. While it is definitely educating, it can also be cumbersome and boring. However, taking into account the benefits is reason to read to your child for sure. Unfurl several reasons that toast the importance of reading to your toddlers.
There is no denying the fact that reading is one of the best ways to learn about new things. While your toddler may not be able to read yet, he can still enjoy the world of books. Wondering how? Well, go ahead and read to him!
How to Initiate Toddler Memory Development Through Reading
Time and again, it has been proved that children who are read to from a young age have a higher aptitude for languages. What's more, such children have more chances of excelling in their academics in the later years when compared to little ones whose parents don't read to them. One of the main benefits of reading to toddlers is that it inculcates the love for books and reading from a very young age. Also, the intonations and inflections used by the parent influence the reading abilities of the child.
Super Reasons to Read to your Child
1. Basics of Reading
Reading is in no way an inborn talent and has to be nurtured with practice. The fact that one should read from left to right becomes known to your toddler only when you read to him while tracing the words with your fingers.
2. Understanding Letters and Words
For a toddler, the words and letters on a page are just black marks. One of the major benefits of reading in child development is that the tot starts to understand that each and every mark on the page has a sound associated with it and can be strung together to form words.
3. Better Vocabulary
When you read to your toddler, you are actually helping him in building his vocabulary. The more you read, the more are the chances that your tot will learn new words and would also understand the right way to use them. This is why reading is so important for kids.
4. Learning the Alphabets
Your tot may be too young to start reading words and sentences, but he can definitely be taught to identify letters of the alphabets while you are reading out to him. Pointing out different letters and then asking your toddler to repeat them can help you in teaching him the alphabets. Including a book of alphabets in your 2-year-old's reading list would be a good idea.
5. Reading is Fun!
When you start reading to your child from an early age, you're inculcating a very positive habit in your child. One of the main importance of reading to your toddler in an engaging way is that he would identify this as a relaxing activity rather than a tedious one. This would go a long way in encouraging your child to be a book lover.
Reading to your child would also help in improving his concentration and memory. With the number of benefits that reading to toddlers have, make sure you set aside some time every day to read to your child. Read more

My story with you all.Dehydrate your self for best results.
I am happy to share my story with you all. Initially when my baby was born I had enough milk for him but as he was not able to drink that caused milk reduction. lots of trouble started for us ,he had baby jaundice and as per doctors it was because he did not had enough milk. Normally every newborn baby sleep cycle is 2- 3 hrs and then have there milk and sleep.he use to sleep more and drink very less that caused jaundice and as per doctors suggestion we have moved on with the formula milk and breast feed. I was not happy with the formula milk, because of that he had colic pain, and his stool was also smelling .But I don't have any other go than as per the suggestion of doctor I tool lactare powder with milk and the result was OK for me, but still I had to depend on the formula milk. I used Galakol tablets, yes it was of real use for me.
I visited a doctor for the vaccination purpose I told him about this so he suggested me tomorrow have at least 4 - 5 liter of water every day (you can add juices etc) and he also suggested to take nap with the baby when possible ,healthy diet.
Yes drinking water definitely helped me. I can say I am happy now. My baby is 9months old now and I am giving him enough milk and little bit of solids. sleep is also the essential part of kids,so please make sure your baby have adequate amount of sleep time.

A. Yes it is the what part is that your child is kicking if you feel that there is a movement of your child whether it is a cake or slight movement also you know that your child is doing fine so there is no problem in that if the movement is less it’s completely alright

A. Nasal blockage is very common, specially in small children because of the narrow nasal cavity. Any kind of saline drops like nasal clear will be helpful in dissolving the stuffy secretions, which can be taken out by vnasal aspirator gently also steam inhalation will be helpful also, try to avoid keeping the child directly under the fan.
