Peanut Chutney
This peanut chutney is one of the simplest chutneys to prepare. Peanuts are a source of proteins, and this chutney is a good substitute for coconut chutney. It is a delicious accompaniment to idlis, dosa, parathas, etc. It also uses dals like chana dal and urad dal which adds to its protein content without contributing much to fats. Also, unlike coconut chutney, this chutney won't get spoiled or rancid for around a week's time if you refrigerate it.

How Kids Can Learn to Recognize Their Name In Print
Your little one is getting better at drawing different kind of lines. He also gradually starting to understand that the wiggly lines that you write actually have meaning. This is known as print awareness.
One of the first things your child will want to know as he develops print awareness with an understanding that written words represent a spoken language. For you to help him do this, we have a guide to help you understand everything about print awareness among kids and how your little learner can recognize their name in print.
How Kids Can Recognize Their Name In Print
Pictures, objects, animations, and other illustrative things are more meaningful for kids. So, first kids learn to recognize the pictures, animations, and objects before they learn to identify printed things, such as their name. It needs coordination of various mental functions to recognize print that include
Recognizing the printed letters
Pairing the alphabet with the right sound
Pairing the sound of various letters in the right way to spell the word as whole
Recall the meaning of the spoken written word
Finally read and understand the entire sentence then paragraph and eventually the complete story. ||
So, your child may call out his name verbally first and, after his mental systems develop well, he learns to recognize his printed name. Print awareness helps your child to relate how the written language complements with the verbal language. And, you can certainly help your child recognize his name in print by developing print awareness in your little learner by following certain effective tips.
4 Effective Tips To Help Your Kid Recognize His Name In Print
1. Acquaint Your Kid With Print
Gift your child printed books containing big-sized alphabets and words. Sit along with your child and read out each and every alphabet of a word in the book. Show him the letters of his name in print. Focus on introducing capital and lowercase letters.
2. Guide Your Child To Identify Printed Words
As you read out every letter and word aloud, tell your child to spell the same. As you read, run your fingers beneath the printed letters. This will help your child learn and grasp the way each letter sounds like. Soon, your child will learn to identify the printed letters and words and eventually recognize his printed name.
3. Encourage Kids To Blend The Letters
Provide two or more letters’ combinations, once your kid masters identifying printed letters. And, ask your kid to blend the adjacent printed letters and spell them. Doing so, your child will learn to identify printed words, such as his name, and spell them accurately.
4. Teach Puzzles
Simple puzzles comprising square-shaped card pieces with one printed letter on each card piece can help your child recognize his name in print. Arrange the combination of printed letters on the card pieces that makes his name and guide him to read his name. Soon, your child will arrange the printed alphabets in the right order and create his name. Read more

Love Aaj Kal is a love story set in two generations. Over the years, the process of meeting, wooing, dating, and marrying has changed a lot. 4. Akaash Vani

Akaash Vani is a romantic film about college friendships, love, and a not-so-sweet marital relationship. This love story has an underlying and recurring theme of parents choosing a suitor for their daughter. Vani initially resigns to her fate of living with an abusive husband, but ultimately goes against everyone to be with Akaash who had never stopped loving her, right from their college days. A classic example of how women are breaking the stereotype, it will get you teary-eyed and also some cute promises from your better half!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGyAaR2aWcA
Starring: Arjun Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ronit Roy, Amrita Singh, Revathi

2 States is a film based on a book of the same name. The film is about how Krish (based on Chetan Bhagat’s character in the book), a Punjabi, goes into depression because he couldn’t marry his IIM-A classmate, Ananya, who hails from Tamil Nadu. The story is also inspired by Bhagat’s own tale of marrying someone from outside his state and the struggles they had to go through to have their relationship accepted. The film is quite realistic, as in India, a marriage is not just between two individuals but between two families. It has both, funny and sentimental scenes, and is more relatable to partners who belong to different states.
6. Dum Laga Ke Haisha
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lFZpPpSU3k0
Starring: Ayushmann Khurana, Bhumi Pednekar
Running Time: 110 minutes
Dum Laga Ke Haisha is the story of an overweight Sandhya and a school drop-out Prem who get married due to parental pressure. Prem dislikes the match from the very beginning and does everything to be away from his wife, hurting Sandhya in the process. Things take a turn for the worse, but a forced six months of living together gives rise to love in their hearts. Prem is challenged to a "Dum Lagao" contest by a fellow business competitor. On the day of the contest, he surprisingly bears the weight of his wife on his shoulders, overcomes all the obstacles placed in their path and wins the race. Love gives strength - that’s what the climax of this romantic movie portrays.
7. Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein
Starring: R. Madhavan, Diya Mirza, Saif Ali Khan
Running Time: 168 minutes
A love story from the early 2000s, Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein is a film about a college rivalry that turns into a ‘suitor rivalry’ after a few years. Maddy and Sam are college students who hate each other. A few years down the line, they fall in love with the same girl and want to marry her. Love triangles are always bittersweet, and so is this romantic film.
8. Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBi8syxPd14
Starring: Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma
Running Time: 164 minutes
Although the film starts off on a somewhat unrealistic note, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi is the story of how Surinder puts his heart into winning the love and affection of his wife, Taani. He changes himself for her, in terms of his physical appearance, his name (Raj) and his personality, such that Taani doesn’t recognise him when they partner up for a dance competition. However, things get complicated when Taani slowly starts developing feelings for Raj, his alter identity. The movie then deals with Taani’s dilemma of choosing between the man she’s married to or the man she’s falling in love with. This film beautifully shows the real struggles of an arranged marriage and that both partners should adapt to one another to experience marital bliss.
9. Socha Na Tha
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3DNs99fqfes
Starring: Abhay Deol, Ayesha Takia
Running Time: 157 minutes
Socha Na Tha is the story of Viren who refuses to marry Aditi as he is in love with his girlfriend, Karen. However, they meet, interact, and gradually start developing feelings for each other. A real take on love and romance, this is one romantic film for those who don’t believe in love at first sight.
After having a baby, partners tend to focus less on each other. Movies are an excellent way to come closer to your spouse once again, and what better time to make a start than Valentine’s week!

10 Tips You Should Try If Your Child Doesn't Sleep Well Through The Night!
Do light and noise affect your toddler’s sleep? If yes, read our tips on how to create effective sleep conditions so that your toddler sleeps peacefully through the night.
There are babies who sleep through ringing phones or thundering storms. And then there are babies who wake up at the slightest of sounds; cooking sounds in the kitchen or sun rays coming through the window in the morning. If your child is sensitive to light and noise in babyhood, chances are that he has the same sensitivity even as a toddler.
How to Create Effective Sleep Conditions for Your Toddler
Here are some tips on how to create effective sleep conditions so that your toddler sleeps peacefully through the night:
If you are breastfeeding your child, wean him off during the middle-of-the-night feeds. The same applies for bottle feeding. It will help your child to sleep without disruption. But take care your child is not hungry before he goes to sleep.
Encourage activity during the day. A toddler who is active during the day and has exposure to sunlight sleeps better at night.
Make your toddler used to light and normal household noises like cooking sounds in the kitchen, vacuum cleaner, lawn mowing, etc. Once he gets used to these sounds, he will be less bothered by them during his sleep.
Monitor your child’s naps. Most toddlers between the age of 1 and 2 years require 10–13 hours of sleep. Usually, this sleeping time is divided into afternoon nap(s) and nighttime sleeping. However, some toddlers might outgrow their two daytime naps and come down to one, while some might do away with daytime naps altogether. If you feel your child’s daytime nap is interfering with his night time sleep, you may want to reduce his afternoon sleep or do away with it. Also make sure his daytime nap gets over by 3 pm so that there is a sufficient time interval till his sleeping time in the night.
White noise helps. A fan whirring, wind chimes playing, sound from the bedroom clock or an actual white noise machine may help your toddler to sleep well.
Small kids find comfort in routine. Try following a consistent bedtime routine. Bathe your toddler in lukewarm water, change him into his night clothes, sing rhymes or read stories to him. Soon your child will associate these activities with sleep and get prepared to sleep.
Keep nighttime activity a low key. Try not to indulge your child in stimulating games or activities just before his sleeping time. An excited mind might keep him awake till late.
Prepare his room according to his preferences. Keep the lights dim, temperature comfortable and his favourite cuddly blanket/ soft toy by his side. If your baby is afraid of dark, put a soft night-light in his room. This will relax him enough to sleep.
For your light sleeper, you may want to invest in light-proofing his room and put thicker curtains to block the outside light.
If your toddler is scared of sleeping alone in the room, try to reassure him that you or other family members will be around and will come to his side as soon as he calls.
A light sleeper stays the same even when he grows up, but soon he learns to put himself back to sleep on waking up in the middle of the night. So, no need to fret! Read more

A. Typically, your bump becomes noticeable during your second trimester. Between 16-20 weeks, your body will start showing your baby's growth. For some women, their bump may not be noticeable until the end of the second trimester and even into the third trimester. The second trimester starts in the fourth month.
