3. Comfort Sometimes Isn't the Key

While infant seats are comfortable and convenient, babies need their normal tummy-time to encourage muscle development. This is why it is recommended that the average infant seat or swing time should be limited to one hour only.

1. Nipple Shield
As a new mother, the very first challenge you will face is getting your child to latch on your breast as the nipples won't be fully ready to start nursing. 3. Nursing Gowns
Nursing gowns either have zip or button closures in the front, which enable you to easily feed whenever required. Nursing gowns are a must-have to ensure that your breastfeeding experience is smooth and comfortable.
4. Electric Breast Pump
Initial few months of motherhood will require you to be always around your baby if you choose to exclusively breastfeed your child. In such instances, it becomes difficult for a new mother to step out and visit the doctor, especially if you are unwell and want a little rest. The breast pump comes in handy and ensures that you get little rest whenever you need. Electric breast pumps are much easier and less painful to use than a manual one.
5. Lavender Oil
As a new mother, the biggest challenge I faced was insomnia. As a newborn baby feeds every 2-3 hours, it could get difficult to adjust in the initial few months after delivery. The erratic sleep schedules of your newborn could affect your sleep pattern and make it difficult for you to fall asleep. So instead of opting for medicines, opt for a natural product like lavender oil. Spray the lavender oil on the pillow. The fragrance of this oil will help in relaxing the mind and make you sleep better.

The outfits we wanted to look cool in to a party but we flaunted it to update for fb or insta. Its not that I was not a part of all this but at a point in life, it made me and may be many others to realize that its better to enjoy that particular moment of life than to update. Yes, it is important to capture for reanimating the memories but not to capture everything to update even to the extent of mapping with false carried expressions. Not only this but once updated, we are really into this again and again multiple times to check the comments, likes or views though it may keep us engaging but it's also true that it provides stress because someone who was dear to us did not liked or commented on our special post. Now-a-days it feels like people want to more advertise than to share about their happy wedding, expensive buys, foreign trips, their achievements or everything or anything. But please remember that not everyone will be happy at your achievements or updates and that most of the comments appreciating or appraising you would be just 'fake' . Somewhere its truly written that showing every good page of your life may attract an evil eye; you believe it or not but it may sound true at some point in your life. So, its always good to keep a part of your life private. Also, it takes a toll on our productive time, our time which we would have actually spent with our family or friends but we were busy scrolling down the fb or insta pages!
Every new platform, new app, new technology surely benefit us but when we start creating a dis-balance; it may ruin our life, our relationships, our special moments. To hold yourself accountable for following your resolution, tell your family or close friends about your goal and ask them to help you when they see you straying from it. Having someone keeping a check on you can help you stick to your resolution better.
4. Celebrate the Small Victories.
A great way to continue with your new year resolution is by acknowledging your victories, no matter how little they are. If you’ve managed to smoke one less cigarette for a week, reward yourself by going for a movie or eating a small cupcake. The key is to being aware that you’re doing great, even if your pace is slow.
5. Take External Help if You Can.
Take the help of apps, locks, stationary, or anything else that you think will help you stick to your resolution better. If you’re aiming to get fitter, download a running app to keep track of your progress. If you’re aiming to quit smoking, start noting down the number of cigarettes you’ve had each day and watch the number reduce gradually. Having external proof that you’re doing well can help you stick to your goals.
6. Reflect on Your Progress for more Motivation.
It’s important to remember this: do not punish yourself if you failed to cut down more cigarettes or lose more than 1 kg of weight in a month. Progress is bound to fluctuate sometimes, and that’s okay – just make sure that you don’t go lower than your current progress rate. There’ll be no way but up.

Following a new year’s resolution should be done out of genuine determination and fun, and not as a punishment. Enjoy yourself in the process, no matter what your resolution is.
