Remedies to Reduce the Effect of Shani Sade Sati
Saturn is a unique celestial body which watches over our conscience. It is said that it brings harm to evildoers and helps those who are good. Shade Sati is a phenomenon many believers of astrology are fearful of. When taken for granted, it can destroy a person's life and bring many challenges and obstacles in their way.
Saturn doesn't favour any individual but rather passes judgement based on the actions, merits, and demerits of a person in their past lives. If the person is humble, positive, and has good intentions, it does everything in its power to bring that individual fame, fortune, and everything else they'd never expect to have in their wildest dreams. So yes, the celestial body does play a role in your life and there's more to it than you think. We discuss Saturn Sade Sati below.
What is Sade Sati?
Sade Sati period is the 7.5-year period when Saturn transits and crosses over the three zodiac signs. The beginning of Sade Sati is marked by having financial troubles in those who have bad karma. Next, the person sinks into depression and slowly faces problems with relationships and family members. As you can see, the negative spiral keeps going down the more time passes. And the only way to stop or reduce its effects is by doing a couple of home remedies. We talk more about that too soon.
People are scared of Shani Dev because of the doom and downfall it brings but the important thing to remember that the celestial body isn't biased against anyone. However, for those individuals who have maintained a good character and a clean lifestyle, Saturn may bless them with supernatural powers and grant them everything they want. The key takeaway is that Saturn stays in the same sign for 2.5 years and moves on to the next. This affects its preceding and succeeding signs. For instance, let's say if Saturn is in Sagittarius for 2.5 years, then Scorpio which is its preceding sign will be expected to pass through the third phase of Sade Sati while Sagittarius will go through the second phase and Capricorn (it's succeeding sign) will go through its first phase. That's how planetary positions in Hindu Astrology work when it comes to the movement of Saturn's Sade Sati's phases.
How Does Sade Sati Affect You?
Saturn will influence your life if your birth horoscope is said to be in the Moon's twelfth, first, or second house. Sade Sati's 7.5-year transit is broken into three phases of 2.5 years each. An individual with Saturn's influence in their lives has to go through these three phases and it is believed that the second phase is the most trying or challenging. By challenging, we mean this is a period when you go through tests and trials that check your character and observe if you're consistent. It's life's way of throwing difficulties at you and noticing whether you stand your ground or run away.
Remedies You Can Try to Tackle The Shani Sade Sati
If you're under the influence of Shani Sade Sati and are experiencing some hard times or any difficulty in your life, here are some home remedies you can try to negate the effects of sade sati:
1. Chant the Hanuman Chalisa
You can reduce the effects of Shani Sade Sati by pleasing Lord Hanuman or praying to him. Offer Him prasad and chant the Hanuman Chalisa every Tuesdays and Saturdays.
2. Donate on Saturdays
Donating some black til, clothing, or offering mustard oil to the poor are good ways to impress Sani Sade Sati. Do this every Saturday because donating more equals good karma. It will take time to show the results though, but the good news is, it's a good start.
3. Give Food To The Needy
Giving food to a black dog on Saturdays or vegetarian dishes to the needy and poor are also another good way to tackle the effects of Shani Sade Sati. Try to be generous and not stingy when it comes to giving food to the poor. For example, making a homecooked meal and donating will be far better than shopping from a restaurant and handing it over in a parcel. Because that implies, you've put in the effort to do something good for someone rather than take the easy way out.
4. Don't Drink Alcohol
Alcohol is not only bad for your health but also angers Shani Dev. Avoid drinking it, eat clean, and live a healthy and disciplined lifestyle to get positive results. Avoid alcohol especially on Saturdays and Tuesdays, and smoking too, if possible. Otherwise, you'll be cursed with bad luck even more. And drugs, definitely no to drugs because it's not only bad for your health but also your karma.
5. A Black Horse Shoe
Putting up a black horseshoe near the front or entrance of your house has been said to be one of the best ancient remedies to reduce the effects of Shani Sade Sati. You can also wear a black horseshoe ring on your middle finger and pray to it every day. It works!
6. Chant Other Mantras
Besides the Hanuman Chali, you can appease to Shani Dev by chanting other Holy mantras like the Shani Mantra (Om Sham Shanicharaya Namah), Mahamritunjay Mantra, and Jaap.
7. Wear Black on Saturdays
On Saturdays, no matter what, wear black. Don't buy any black leather goods, clothes, and also broomsticks on Saturdays.
That's it! Remember that you won't be seeing any results instantly when you start applying our tips and home remedies. You will have to give it time and be patient. The best thing you can do is focus on changing your lifestyle, eliminate bad habits, and stay consistent. Your character and your dedication are what's going to impress Shani Dev and reduce the ill effects, not some temporary measures or phases of trying out new things. Do this, and we're sure your future will change for the better or at least, head in the right direction.

Can you Afford a Second Child?
A child means huge responsibility, both emotionally and financially; and as a parent there's no denying it. Therefore, planning to have a second baby indirectly means getting accustomed to an even more stressful life, where cost and effort get doubled. On the contrary, this is the only way to create a sibling bond in children that lasts forever. So, how do you solve the quandary for baby number two? Here is a list that will help dispel the confusion and make your second child planning process easy.
How Practical is Baby Number Two
1. Take Help of Insurance
A foresight into the incurring medical expenses will force every parent to think whether to have a second child or not. However, there are plenty of insurance covers that help combat extra expenses timely. Some of these include covers for doctor visits, tests, medications, delivery and post-natal check up’s, along with a variety of other insurance policies. Consult your insurance representative in advance and plan for a viable insurance cover before you plan your second child.
2. Nanny vs Daycare
Having a second child when your older one still goes to the daycare, can be tricky business. For working mothers, daycare is the best option to keep their children safe and looked after. But the cost would double when you think of bringing a second baby into the world. To combat this double expense, you can think of hiring a nanny to look after both the children at home. This arrangement will definitely turn out cheaper than daycare. Besides this, the kids will be brought up together in a congenial and less infectious environment, and can be easily monitored from home using candid cameras too.
3. Space Issue
Will your current home be enough to shelter all four of you? Or are you ready to bear the extra cost of moving into a new spacious house to entertain your two little tots? These questions should be pondered upon before you think about having another baby. A large home means paying more rent and more expenditure on furnishings. Looking for cheaper options like shifting slightly away from the work place, renting some baby furnishings instead of buying them are some alternatives to save some money in this process.
4. Small Car or Big Car
Cars are no more luxury and are essential for daily transport. While you're busy with your baby planning, take time out to think if you will need a bigger and spacious car too. If 'yes', are you prepared to meet this increase in your monthly budget? Consider options like buying a used car or renting one, at the time of need, to tackle such expenses.
5. Budget-Friendly Fun
Can you afford the recreational needs of both the children in your limited budget? Instead of compromising on the fun element, try to discover new means of entertaining yourself at home. This will not only reduce the extra expense of exotic travels and restaurant bills, but will keep your children happy. A casual visit to the mall or a pizza store every week will excite them and budget travel trips to nearby destinations once in 3 months will be enough to keep them active and happy.
It is a beautiful thought to welcome another member into a family of three. If you can tighten your purse strings and manage the finance part easily without burdening yourselves and your family members, then the question of can I afford a second child should be answered with a loud "Yes"! Read more

Sure Shot Tricks to Resolve Furniture Arrangement Mistakes
Clever and convenient arrangement of furniture plays an important role in the decor of your house. Make sure you're not committing these common mistakes most people make when they arrange furniture. Just a few tweaks can have your room looking fantastic in a jiffy.
You've picked up some beautiful items of furniture for your house. Now how do you let them take centre stage while making the room inviting and preventing it from looking congested? It's easy to make blunders when arranging furniture especially when the living room is on the smaller side and you're trying hard to make everything perfect. Fortunately, just a few pointers will help you keep things in perspective.
Furniture Arrangement Mistakes you Must Undo
1. Don't wall up
Do you have to shout a little across the room to make yourself heard? Unless your room's really huge, it could be that the furniture is too spaced out. You may have pushed the sofa close to the wall in the hope it would allow more space for moving around. The fact is, placing things closer together makes a room appear larger and cosier. Rearrange your furniture so that the sofas and chairs are not more than a few steps away. You can always spread out other furniture like cabinets.
2. Less is more
If the room's small and you aren't able to move around without hurting your knee or stepping on your husband's toes, you may have packed in too much in too little space. Go for smaller chairs, ottomans and a coffee table or choose one large sofa, two small chairs and a small centre table. Avoid setting up furniture like storage cabinets that take up a surprisingly large amount of space.
3. 'Zone' out
Does your husband have to be extra quiet when watching the telly so that he doesn't disturb the children when they study? Does the coffee table get cluttered with paper work? It could be that you haven't created zones for different activities. Push up two couches together to create a private zone for conversation. Place a sofa in front of the TV so hubby can watch his favourite shows in peace. You can also create a separate homework zone for the kids by placing a table and a couple of chairs in a niche.
4. Say goodbye to sidestepping
Do you step aside to open a drawer or the door to a cabinet? Is it tough to access storage? It's likely that there isn't enough space around the furniture. Rearrange it so there's sufficient room to move around without spacing things out too far. For instance, you could push back the sofa a few inches or reposition the chairs a little.
5. Mind traffic control
Have you noticed your guests tripping over the furniture or struggling to manoeuver their way around it? Does someone who's seated need to shift to make way for another who's passing by? It's time to give your furniture arrangement a little tweak keeping in mind the traffic flow in the room. Make sure you haven't placed furniture in the path of doorways or very close together. You can test your new plan by walking between the centre table and seating. You should be able to pass unhindered.

A. Nasal blockage is very common, specially in small children because of the narrow nasal cavity. Any kind of saline drops like nasal clear will be helpful in dissolving the stuffy secretions, which can be taken out by vnasal aspirator gently also steam inhalation will be helpful also, try to avoid keeping the child directly under the fan.
