7 Essential Oils That Keep Your Breasts Healthy and Firm
Pregnancy and breastfeeding can affect the size and shape of your breasts. When you breastfeed your baby, the flow of milk stretches the breast skin, which shifts the fatty tissue and the connective tissue in your breasts. This is a common cosmetic problem after you breastfeed a child; it’s not a medical concern. It is also the very reason why women end up with loose, saggy breasts after breastfeeding.
There is a good chance that your breasts might not return to their pre-breastfeeding shape or size, but it does not mean that they cannot be firm and healthy. Instead of seeking surgical solutions for beautiful breasts, look for natural ways to have firmer breasts after breastfeeding. The goodness of essential oils can work wonders for breast health, and can truly transform your breasts to look firm and healthy. Women, especially breastfeeding moms have become extra cautious about their breast health, and natural oil massages are just what they need to aid their concerns!
Essential Oils for Breast Health
Here’s a list of essential oils for firm and healthy breasts. Different oils are said to ease the symptoms of various skin conditions. Note that certain oils don’t suit every skin type. So choose the right oil for your breasts only after consulting with your doctor!
1. Olive Oil
Did you know that this healthy kitchen ingredient is equally healthy for your breasts? Rich in antioxidants and fatty acids, olive oil works wonders in healing sagging breasts. It helps improve the texture and tone of your skin, making the breasts firm. To use olive oil for breast firming, take a small amount of the oil, rub your palms together to heat them, and massage your breasts. Start by massaging one breast at a time in circles - both clockwise and anticlockwise! Repeat this for the other breast and massage for five to ten minutes every day!
2. Coconut Oil
The benefits of coconut oil for the skin and hair are countless. When used for massaging, it strengthens the breast tissues and helps get rid of pregnancy stretch marks. The mild scent of coconut oil helps calm the nerves and balance the hormones. The advantage of coconut oil is that it is less greasy as compared to other oils, so you can easily massage your breasts with coconut oil and leave it on without worrying about staining your bra. Massage your breasts once a day for best results.
3. Almond Oil
Breast skin tends to lose its moisture when the tissues stretch out - this is where almond oil comes to the rescue. This vitamin-rich oil nourishes the breasts and gives them the moisture they need. It heals the tissues, making your breasts look bigger and firmer. Plus, you feel fresh after massaging your breasts with almond oil, because its sweet scent lingers on your body. Also, almond oil can increase the cup size as it boosts cell growth, and regular massaging can help improve the flow of blood, thus treating sagging breasts.
4. Soybean Oil
The oil extracted from soybean seeds is excellent for breast enlargement. Soybean oil can increase estrogen levels in the body, thus enhancing the size of the breasts. It supports breast tissue growth, thus healing sagging breasts and making them look -firmer. Massage your breasts every day with two tablespoons of soybean oil, and you will see the change soon enough! It is also believed that consuming soy-products can help increase the size of breasts, but you must consume them in moderation.
5. Fenugreek Oil
This is another effective breast tightening oil. Massaging the breast area with fenugreek oil helps expand breast tissues, thus healing them and making your breasts firmer. Fenugreek oil mixed with ginger oil works wonders in naturally tightening the breast skin. Apply this combination to your breasts and gently massage in circular motions for ten minutes. Leave it overnight! In a couple of weeks, you will have soft and firm breasts.
6. Primrose Oil
Primrose oil is widely used to treat numerous skin disorders. This oil is highly recommended for women who experience breast pain. Rich in fatty acids, it eases skin inflammation, rejuvenates the skin and keeps it healthy and supple. Massaging your breasts with primrose oil can boost blood circulation in the breast area, and naturally, increase the size of breasts. Women with loose breasts are advised to use primrose oil, but if your skin is sensitive, do not apply this oil directly on the surface. Make sure you mix it with almond or olive oil.
7. Emu Oil
Emu oil is not like any other oil, because it is extracted from a bird instead of a seed or a flower. This oil is unique because the fatty acids present in it mimic the cells in the human body. Because of its close resemblance to human skin cells, it is quickly absorbed by the body and penetrates within skin layers, reaching the tissues and cells. Emu oil can, in fact, penetrate seven layers of the skin, and nourish the skin around the breast area. It works wonders in reducing stretch marks around the breast, thickens the layers of cells, and enhances the size of your breasts.
These essential oils penetrate skin-deep to nourish and heal skin tissues. For firmer and healthier breasts, you should start massaging your breasts with any one of these oils that suit your skin.
Massage Tips for Firm Breasts
Here are a few tips that you should keep in mind while massaging your breasts:
Before massaging your breast, rub your palms together to warm up the oil.
Do not be harsh on your breasts. They are delicate organs, and they should be massaged gently.
Massage in a circular motion as well as upwards. This will help boost the circulation of blood in the breasts.
Massage your breasts either before bathing in the morning or before going to bed at night. Choose a time as per your comfort.
Limit your massage time to 15 minutes.
Consistency is key. Massage regularly for best results.
No doubt, there are surgical solutions for bigger and firmer breasts. But why spend a fortune when essential oils can do the trick for you naturally? Give these oils a try, and you are bound to notice a change soon enough!

Is Drinking Bottled Water Safe and Beneficial for Your Child’s Health? Find Out!
Water is life, and clean water means health.’ The question that arises here is, are we drinking clean water? With the market flooded with different types of RO purifiers, I am always confused when it comes to choosing the right brand of packaged water for my family. And that’s not all! Being the mother of a growing 5-year-old daughter, I am always scared of making her drink the water available outside while travelling. From the park to the theatre, from grandma’s home to a holiday destination - I prefer carrying an ample amount of filtered water from home with me.
With so many different brands of mineral water available in the market, I always wonder whether they really provide water in its purest form. However, I’d like to thank Bisleri for easing my worries and enlightening me on the quality of the water they provide to their customers.
Recently, I was invited for an educational yet fun-filled trip to the Bisleri plant with my daughter Vihaana. To my surprise, it turned out to be quite an informative trip. I learned how the most natural resource in the world, water, undergoes a series of purification methods, and yet, retains its mineral content.
#HarPaaniKiBottleBisleriNahi - this hashtag justifies the quality of the final product Bisleri provides its buyers. A symbol of goodness, trust and purity, Bisleri has been a household name for decades. It is the most trusted brand of mineral water and it has fulfilled its promise of providing safe, pure, and healthy mineral water to consumers for the last 50 years.
Each drop of water at the plant goes through a rigorous 10-step quality process. Every Bisleri production facility has its own quality testing lab that ensures every Bisleri product is made as per the quality guidelines set by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The Central Lab, located at the Bisleri Head Office, Mumbai, ensures that quality standards are maintained across all Bisleri units in the country. In 2018, Bisleri launched the world’s first vertical manufacturing plant for mineral water.
The visit to the Bisleri plant was an eye-opener. It gave us the knowledge of how mineral water is manufactured and purified. Before the approval of any manufacturing unit, all these tests are conducted on the water collected at the source. Ozonisation is then carried out to reduce the microbial load of the ‘raw’ water. Two tests are done on a weekly basis to monitor and control microorganisms in the sand filter outlet. Two tests are also done on a weekly basis in the carbon filter outlet for the same purpose. The iodine value is checked during the 4th test to confirm the efficiency of the activated carbon.
Two tests, the total coliform count and total plant count, are then conducted on a weekly basis to monitor and control microorganisms in RO filter outlet. This is followed by two tests conducted on a weekly basis to monitor the microorganisms in the water. Three visual inspection tests are performed on a daily basis to check the labelling and coding of the date, as well as the condition of the bottle and the cap. All these parameters should meet the standards before they’re dispatched from the plant.
Apart from these tests, seven other tests are conducted on the container every three months as per the BIS Standard. These tests ascertain the strength, capacity, and appearance of the bottle, and also test for any leaching from the PET (polyethylene terephthalate) plastic used for the bottle. Two tests are done on a weekly basis to monitor and control microorganisms in empty containers.
The final product undergoes a series of tests to confirm that the product meets all organoleptic parameters i.e., sensory and chemical elements such as the colour, taste, TDS (total dissolved solids) level, PH level, etc. The tests confirm that all the parameters meet legal requirements such as the amount of calcium and magnesium in the water, the alkalinity of the water, etc. The shelf-life mentioned on each bottle is accurate; the samples are tested periodically to ensure this. The final test measures the concentration of ozone in the final product. It has to be within the recommended level and is done on an hourly basis.
The knowledge I gained during this visit was immense. I was assured after this visit that the best packaged form of mineral water is Bisleri water indeed, and that I can give it to my daughter to drink without any inhibitions. My worry regarding the best way to quench her thirst when we’re not at home is at ease now. Moreover, I would now not hesitate to give her Bisleri water because of its mineral content too.
I’d like to thank Bisleri for erasing my misconceptions about mineral water. Also, I request all readers to consume Bisleri water without a doubt. If you have even the smallest of doubts, do visit the plant and you will be clear of your choice. Remember, the next time you're thirsty, pick up a bottle of Bisleri water. Each bottle of water is tested and checked to meet the highest standards of quality, so you can be assured that you're making the right choice! Thank you Bisleri!

Reset After Jet: Help your Kids Deal With Jet Lag
Admit it - trips are hard with kids around. And if it’s an international trip, you need to be all the more prepared to help them adjust to the new timezone. Learn how to avoid jet lag to save yourself from dealing with cranky children.
If you’ve made it through a long international flight along with your children, a big congratulations! But you still have to deal with annoying jet lag and its effects. Get prepared with these tips and have you and the kids feeling yourselves again.
Understanding What Is Jet Lag
The body's internal clock regulates wake-sleep cycles. When you travel to a different time zone, it takes a while to adjust your internal clock and routine to the local time. If there’s a time difference of eight or more hours, you may end up staying in bed all day and be awake all night. You may feel hungry at awkward moments and feel tired, irritated and unwell in general.
What causes jet lag?
When we experience daylight and darkness contrary to our home time, our internal clocks get out of sync and we feel jet lagged. But don't panic just yet because you can use daylight and electrical lights to your advantage to adapt quickly to the new time zone.
A few tips to get over jet lag quickly
1. Prep them
Tune your watch to the local time as soon as you reach there. Distract your children so that they don’t think about what time it is at home. Jet lag is not completely inescapable, but the answer to how to avoid jet lag lies in prepping them before they go on the trip. You can start shifting their schedule around the destination time weeks before you leave.
2. Don't fall for the nap-trap!
However enticing it may be, don't let the kids take a short nap if it’s daytime at your destination. Instead, say hello to sunshine. You could take kids to a park and give them snacks or milk to keep them occupied. The more they bask in the sun rays, the easier it’ll be for their internal clocks to reset to the local time.
3. Be prepared for late nights or early starts
Keep some snacks and DVDs handy in case they get up in the middle of the night. Stay up with them for an hour or so if they can’t sleep at all, but gently remind them that they need to go back to sleep soon.
4. Jet lag in babies? Keep them hydrated
When travelling with babies, make sure that they get enough sleep and stay hydrated on the plane. When you set foot at your destination, try to feed them according to the new time zone. Keep them active during the day with sufficient milk and food. You can reset their internal clocks by keeping the room dark and quiet at night. Encourage napping whether with stories or a warm bath.
You need to take care of yourself in order to help your family deal with jet lag. Just keep in mind that it's about maximising your exposure to natural daylight and eating and drinking well. These tips on how to prevent jet lag will help you travel fuss-free with your kids. Read more
