Family is Not an Important Thing, It is Everything
I am writing this story out of personal experience and no general opinions. I was married at 23 and it was completely a love cum arranged marriage. To make it as an arranged marriage we had to go through the struggles that mostly all Indian girls go through. At last, we made it. As usual, the first three months went well, then all the silly fights began - the usual MIL and DIL issues.
My husband has a mid-shift, so I was left all alone in the home and my MIL didn't allow me to do any household chores, but always complained that I was sitting idle. As usual, many problems were raised and when I cried out to my parents, they said that I decided my life and that they never pushed me in this situation. Later I conceived; it was my first baby and the whole family was united. There were too many misunderstandings, but when it came to childbirth, I got total support from my family. I am the kind of a girl who doesn't even tolerate an ant bite, so when it came to childbirth, knowing my body condition my husband and mom stood by me. Till the 9th month, my husband did all the work for me. From personal hygiene like cleaning the floor when I vomited till the time after my delivery. A child's birth can bring remarkable changes in a family; our baby united us. But then also my MIL was more likely to be attached to my daughter than me. One fine day, my husband and I had an open discussion, and I poured my heart out and he also spoke frankly.
We decided one thing, "our parents have lived their lives, but we have to live ours". It's our priority to give them due respect and to take care of them till their last breath. So we decided our parents' actions towards us should never hurt us anymore. We knew that without our reaction to their actions, nothing will happen. So we started ignoring negative words and thoughts around us.
Apart from all these things we wanted to teach our daughter what actually a family and love means. Living in a nuclear family may give us privacy and independence, and we can live our lives according to our wish, but a joint family can teach a child many things. Grandparents love can make a child feel secure. They also help in a child's intellectual and speech development.
I realised that because of my daughter our bond got stronger, and to be very honest we learn from our kids. Kids are like little flowers. They make the plant (the family) beautiful. Children are a gift from God. They must be given the freedom to achieve their dreams and goals. Our prior duty is just to guide them and let them create their own path. Many times, we create a path for them and ask them to follow it.
When it comes to family, our opinion is different. And when it is about our kids, our opinions again differ. They see and feel goodness in all things and people around them. When we live in a family (with our parents and kids), children learn how they should treat their parents. It's just a reciprocal process that I have learnt in life. What we give to our parents today will come back to us in the future.
Imparting good values to kids doesn't start in school, and it's not the duty of a teacher. It starts at 'HOME SWEET HOME'. Be a happy family and set good examples for your kids. FAMILY is a love chain that should only grow.

Millets are a good source of nutrients and they are the perfect replacement of rice. Here I am sharing an easy millet - chicken pualo recipe.
Ingredients
1. Little millet 2 cups
2. Checken 300g
3. 1 medium size onion
4. 1 medium size tomato
5. 2 table spoon ginger garlic and chilly paste
6. 1 bay leaf
7. 3/4 black pepper seed
8. 2 peices of Clove
9. 1 tea spoon cumin seed
10. 1 tea spoon turmeric powder
11. Curd 3 table spoon
12. Coriander leaves
13. Oil 4 table spoon
14. Ghee 1 spoon
15. Salt per taste.
Method
Wash the millet thoroughly and soak in water for 6hrs. Do not through the water in which millet is soaked, it contains the nutrients and use that in making the recipe. Chop the onion, tomato and keep it side. Wash the chicken and marinate it with curd, salt, turmeric powder for 30 minutes.
You can cook it in pressure cooker or in a handi. Heat the handi and then add oil to it. Once it's hot, add the garam masala and chopped onion to it. Fry till it turns golden, then add tomato and ginger garlic paste. When the tomato becomes soft add chicken and fry it for 2 to 3 minutes. When chicken looks white cover it with lid. After 5 minutes add the millet to it and stir it for 1 minute. Mix the chicken and millet perfectly and cook for another 2 to 3 minutes. Now add the water in which millet was soaked. Then add salt if required and cover the lid. Keep it on medium to low flame. If water dries up then you can add water. Once the chicken and millet get cooked turn off the flame and add ghee, chopped coriander leaves. You can add fried onion to it also.

Breast feeding my baby after c-section (first time being mom)
Wanted to explain my experience of breast feeding for the first time .
Though many people give many advices regarding pregnancy and breast feeding. None of our experiences is same as of others. The scenario is different in every individual.
I underwent caesarean.
So could not feed my baby immediately after surgery. And more over my breasts did not produce milk immediately after delivery. I was in the hospital for three days after delivery and nurses helped me in all the possible ways but of no use.
And I was discharged on the 3rd day.i was very eager to feed my baby but my breasts are not producing milk.i was emotionally very much depressed and disturbed as I could not feed my baby.
After going home tried every possible ways like doing breast massages,eating particular foods like garlic ,methi seeds, which alleviate the production of milk . And I even used two medicines which my gynecologist prescribed for milk production.
After one week my breasts started producing milk but in very less quantity.
In between my mental condition is very disturbed
At one point my condition is very worst because I felt very bad that I could not even feed my baby.
And finally my breasts started producing milk slowly .
And my next problem is my baby could not latch on my breasts.because my breasts are with flat nipples
And moreover my delivery was in the peak days of lockdown, so could not able to purchase products like nipple shield.
And somehow my baby learned to latch Immediately after I started my breast feeding I suffered with nipple crack and nipple soreness .
However I overcame all those hurdles and finally and satisfactorily could breast feed my baby.
Breast feeding is a very wonderful experience
And the best gift every mother could ever receive.
