I delivered my son on 31st of December 2015 via Ceaserean, and in the week following my problems began. Sense of loss, helplessness, rage, hatred towards my newborn and thoughts of suicide. Nothing seemed good enough, I was exceptionally tired and hated everything about me and around me. As time crawled slowly, my relation with my husband and my parents began to deteriorate, everybody felt I was being snobbish, and behaving out of control. In reality, I was losing the control over my mind and thoughts. Anything that I disapproved or felt was done wrongly, stuck in my head and played over and over like a broken tape. It took 1.5 years for me to understand that something wasn't right with me and that I needed help. It took me a lot of courage to approach a Psychiatrist for help. And it was the best thing in life for me. I was diagnosed with post partum depression. Once my medications began, I was much more calmer and began enjoying motherhood. I began looking forward to being with my son, playing with him and holding him. Today close to 3 years being on medications, I feel like my old self. I am able to socialize well, lead and active life and currently making the most of it.

Ingredients
1 1/2 cup all-bran cereal
1 large egg
¾ cup pureed pumpkin
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup raisins
1/4 cup vegetable oil
3/4 cup sugar
1 ¼ cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup boiling water
How To Make
In a large bowl, put ½ cup cereal and pour boiling water and oil in it. Mix well and keep aside.
Once the mixture cools down, add pumpkin puree, eggs, sugar and remaining cereal into it.
Take a small bowl and mix flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Add this dry mixture into the bran mixture.
Add buttermilk and raisins mix.
Preheat the oven at 400 degrees and grease the muffin tin.

zest of 1 orange

Preheat the oven at 375 degrees and grease the muffin dish.

1 cup oats
2 cups flour
1-pint blueberries
1 cup flax seed meal
½ sugar
1 cup yoghurt

1 tsp vanilla essence
½ honey
1 and ½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda

Mix oats and water and keep aside.
