Lion Drawing for Kids - 13 Easy & Simple Steps
Step 1: Draw a lion face.
Draw a circle with a diameter of 5 cm or more on a plain sheet. To draw a lion face, make a small circle inside this circle. The space between the two circles should be about 1 cm. The outer circle should be sketched lightly so that it can be erased later.
Step 2: Draw the mane of the lion.
Draw frill-like semi-circles on the circumference of the bigger circle to draw the mane of the lion. Then erase the outer circle.
Step 3: Draw an egg-shape.
Draw an oval or egg-like structure starting from 1 cm below the centre of the circle as shown in the illustration.
Step 4: Draw two small circles on the left and right sides of the oval shape.
Draw two small circles along the base of the oval shape. The two circles should be drawn on the left and right side of the oval shape respectively such that they intersect with the oval shape as shown in the image.
Step 5: Draw two arcs inside the oval shape.
Draw two arcs inside the oval shape on the left and right sides respectively, as shown in the image.
Step 6: Erase the top-half of the oval shape.
Erase the above half of the oval shape.
Step 7: You will get a U-shape.
You will get a U-shape, which will form the base or the body of the lion.
Step 8: Draw the lion’s feet.
To make the lion’s legs and feet, draw a ‘J’ on the left as shown in the image and an ‘L’ on the right. Draw two arcs on both the feet as illustrated.
Step 9: Draw the tail of the lion.
Now to make the tail of the lion, draw two parallel lines going upwards on the right. Draw a leaf-like shape on the end of the lines.
Step 10: Draw the facial features.
To make lion’s eyes, start with drawing two small circles inside the smaller circle drawn in step 1.
Draw an oval shape inside the above two circles respectively and colour them black.
To make the white part of the eyes, draw a little circle on the top left inside each oval shape.
To draw a nose, draw a wide ‘V’ under the eyes of the lion. Draw an arc to connect the ends of the ‘V’ shape.
Step 11: Draw the tongue of the lion.
Draw a small line from the centre of the lion’s nose and draw a half-circle curved upwards (towards the nose). Draw a small semi-circle underneath to make the tongue of the lion. Next, draw two whiskers on each side as shown in the image.
Step 12: Colour the nose and tongue of the lion.
Colour the tongue and the nose of the lion black.
Step 13: Colour the body of the lion.
Colour the body of the lion mustard yellow and his mane and tail brown.

15 Common Newborn Baby Care Myths Busted
All parents want to take care of their baby in the best possible way. You listen to every suggestion given by your elders in the family or by your friends when it comes to taking care of your baby. As a result, you even start believing the age-old myths, suggested by elders, thinking that it does good to our baby. But you must know the truth behind all the age-old myths and practices that are being followed in our society. If you want to the reasons behind certain beliefs, then read this article. This article will provide you with information on common newborn baby care myths and the actual facts associated with it.
Neonatal Care Myths and Facts
As soon as you begin your pregnancy journey everyone around you starts giving you tips and suggestions to have a healthy and hassle-free pregnancy. Once the baby is born, the focus shifts from you to your baby. However, it may make you wonder whether to follow your heart or your mind. There is no need to put on your thinking hats on as in the following section we shall be busting some famous myths related to newborn care:
1. Myth
Oil massages are old school or old-fashioned.
Fact: Oil massages have been in Indian culture from a very long time, but this does not mean that this age-old practice should be replaced or can be done without. Massaging a baby with oil is recommended because it helps in better circulation of blood in the body of your baby and it also helps induce sleep.
2. Myth
Teething in babies may cause fever.
Fact: The teething process in babies begins somewhere around the age of 6 months and continues till 24 months of age. Younger babies have a weak immune system and so they catch infections or other illness easily. If your baby has a fever and he begins teething at the same time, it does not mean that he has the fever due to teething. You may notice a slight increase in your baby's temperature if he is teething, but it cannot be said as a fever. However, if your baby has a fever, then don't take it for a teething symptom, take him to a doctor, he will suggest you the best.
3. Myth
Carrying or holding a baby for longer durations may spoil the baby.
Fact: A baby's only source of communication is crying. Crying is a baby's way of getting his parent’s attention and get his needs tended to. Also, during the early months, a baby needs more skin-to-skin contact and requires constant comforting. So, if you are carrying your baby in your arms, then there is no wrong in it and you are not spoiling him. However, you need not hold him in your arms all the time.
4. Myth
Breastfeeding mothers should eat bland food.
Fact: As a breastfeeding mother you may be asked to avoid certain foods that may lead to allergies such as nuts, dairy, soy, peanuts, shellfish, fish etc. But apart from this, you can eat any food you want, as it helps your baby develop a taste for various foods through breast milk. However, you must strictly avoid alcohol, excessive amounts of caffeinated beverages, and other such harmful things. For a few days also avoid spicy foods but you don't have to stick to bland food.
5. Myth
Mothers, who are united with their babies as soon as they deliver, bond better with their babies.
Fact: It is important for a baby to feel a mother’s warmth and touch, immediately after birth but it may not be feasible in case of a premature delivery or a c-section. But you don't need to worry as a few days or hours of separation will not affect your life-long bond, and you will get enough time to strengthen your bond with your baby.
6. Myth
Bottle-fed babies are healthier.
Fact: A mother’s milk should be the only source of nutrition for a baby for the first six months of his life. However, if due to some reason you are not able to feed your baby, you will be told to give formula milk to your baby. It may be healthy but it is not healthier than the mother's milk. Breastmilk is loaded with nutrients and is power-packed with antibodies that formula milk cannot match up with.
7. Myth
Applying kohl to a baby will make his eyes healthier and more beautiful.
Fact: A baby should not be applied kajal or any kind of cosmetics. Applying kajal to a baby's eyes does not make his eyes healthy or beautiful. A baby's eyes and skin are sensitive, so it best to not use any cosmetics for a baby. Even homemade kajal should be avoided, as it can lead to allergic reactions or infections in a baby.
8. Myth
Gripe water or janam ghutti is good for digestion and colic in babies.
Fact: Newborn babies have a weak digestive system, and the only thing good for their delicate tummies is their mother’s milk. Many people believe that gripe water can be given to them after a month, however, it is best to avoid giving any external things like gripe water to a baby up until the age of six months.
9. Myth
A newborn baby should be kept inside the house.
Fact: A newborn baby is delicate and thus needs extra care and attention, hence people suggest to not take him out. But there is no harm in taking your baby out and letting him breathe fresh air unless the weather conditions are extremely harsh. Taking your baby outdoors is also one of the great ways of building your baby’s immunity.
10. Myth
Rice cereal must be added to the bedtime bottle feed for long uninterrupted sleep.
Fact: A baby should be given breastmilk alone and feeding him through a bottle must be avoided, until or unless you cannot do without it. But if you are giving formula milk, then you must wait for at least 4 to 5 months before you add any kind of cereals in your baby’s diet as it may lead to medical complications in babies such as obesity and other medical issues.
11. Myth
Babies should be fed water too.
Fact: No, water should not be given to babies before six months of age because breast milk has ample amounts of water to satiate baby’s thirst and hunger.
12. Myth
Gram flour and turmeric powder are better than soaps for a baby’s delicate skin.
Fact: There is no doubt that natural ingredients are better, but these natural ingredients may also lead to allergic reactions in babies. The safest option for a baby would be the products suggested by a doctor. You must opt for hypoallergenic products, which are tried and tested and are suitable for a baby's soft skin.
13. Myth
Babies sleep better if placed on their tummies.
Fact: Babies should always be made to sleep on their back and never on their tummy. Making a baby sleep on his tummy puts him at the risk of SIDS or sudden infant death syndrome. So, always make him sleep on his back.
14. Myth
You will fall in love with your baby instantly.
Fact: You may feel guilty if you do not get any strong feelings of love for your baby, the moment you see him. But the truth is, it is very normal to feel this way. There may be few mothers who may feel an instant connection with their babies in a moment, but if you don’t, it is all right because over time the love and connection will develop.
15. Myth
Newborn babies cannot see.
Fact: This is a weird myth because a baby can see right after his birth. His vision may be blurred or not clear, but he can surely see. And his vision will get better as he grows. So, don't believe in this myth.
These were some common myths related to taking care of newborn babies. Hopefully, we helped debunked them to your satisfaction. Now you know there is a reason for everything, so don't just believe in anything without a reason.

The Shocking Reason France Banned Wi-Fi in Schools!
Can you imagine a life without the Internet and mobile phone? Well, neither can our kids. They live a full, busy life in which the Internet doubles up as a homework buddy, instant query-solver, entertainer and pastime. This is why many schools and colleges now have free Wi-Fi for students on campus. So did France. Until something happened that compelled them to stop it immediately.
So, what forced France to actually ban Wi-Fi in schools? No, it isn’t because students were wasting time browsing. Here is the real reason behind the decision – a big shocker that will leave you worried about your own kids!
The World Health Organisation (WHO) has confirmed that radiofrequency electromagnetic fields can be carcinogenic to humans (Group 2B). Wireless phone use has been linked to an increased risk for brain cancer. The National Agency Health Safety of Food, Environment and Labour (ANSES) has also recommended to limit exposure of the population to radiofrequencies - especially from mobile phones - and especially for children and heavy users.
What is even more worrying is that exposure to such radiations isn’t limited to Wi-Fi but every other gadget that you and your child love so much - cell phones, cordless phones, wireless laptops, routers, electronic devices…even electrical wiring, smart meters and phone towers! Taking a strong, proactive step to minimise damage, the French National Assembly in January 29, 2015 passed a national law to reduce exposure to wireless radiation and electromagnetic fields. While Wi-Fi and wireless devices have been completely banned in nurseries and daycare centres, their use has also been severely restricted in schools for children up to 11 years.

In fact, after this disturbing finding, even India has started taking emergency steps. The Rajasthan High Court, for instance, has directed telecom service providers to remove towers that are near schools, hospitals and play grounds. Such actions are, as PRIARTEM, France's association for the regulation of mobile phone base stations, points out - "A first step in the legal recognition of the need to regulate the development of mobile phone communications and all wireless applications. This legislative effort must be an encouragement to go further in protecting people."

How Wireless Radiation Harms Your Child
Effect on memory and learning
Behaviour problems
Fatigue, stress, headache and dizziness
Reduced focus and attention
Sleep disruption
Cancer and tumours
Neurological problems like Alzheimer's disease
Damage to DNA and genes
Risk of heart damage or tachycardia
The Best Way To Keep Your Child Safe
Experts agree that a two-fold approach is the best way to handle the situation– limit exposure and protect during the exposure. Here are some effective solutions to keep your child safe
Limit your child’s exposure to radiation by setting a daily screen-time cap. Check out these 5 excellent ways to do this.
Use a radiation protection chip that can be latched on to all your wireless devices to nullify the harmful effects. Check out Envirochip which offers lab-tested products for all the gadgets in your household – talk about peace of mind!
Instruct your kids to keep the phone at least 10 mm away from the body. If possible, get them to use a hands-free option.
Keep the duration of mobile phone calls short and switch to text or hands-free whenever possible.
Remember this, mom – the radiation scare is very much a reality and ignoring this can only have serious, life-altering effects in the future. Since it is practically impossible to do away with wireless gadgets, caution is our best bet. You are your child’s role model. Thus, adopt the above steps yourself and keep your family safe and protected! Read more

A. It is not a pre-term degree once you enter into your nine months you can deliver any time and it will be a full-time delivery so see if your gynaecologist is suggesting you something go for that because she’s monitored your pregnancy throughout these nine months so I think she would not suggest you anything wrong of going a sec for a second opinion you go for what your gynaecologist suggesting but try going ahead with a normal delivery
