Home Remedies for Baby Dry Skin
Use a moisturizer. If you notice that your baby's skin has dry patches of skin with flaking, then you must start using a moisturizer at least twice a day. There are many moisturizers in the market that cater especially to babies. Be sure to get advice from your doctor on which baby cream to use. Never use moisturizers made for adults as they have chemicals in the composition that will be harmful to your baby's sensitive skin. In addition to using baby moisturizer, you can use baby soap to correct the dryness of the skin.
Use a humidifier. The environment in which your baby is makes a big difference to her skin. If the environment is too dry, then it will strip the oils and moisture from your baby's skin. To correct this, you can keep a humidifier in her room. This will correct the humidity levels and fix any dryness in the air.
Oil Massage: Using olive oil or baby oil for a daily massage, or applying it topically to dry patches, effectively moisturises the baby’s skin. This helps protect against dry skin.
Use Petroleum Jelly: Thick and protective, petroleum jelly helps combat dryness by locking in the moisture of the skin. You can apply a thin layer to the dry patches of skin.
Use Calendula: Calendula, which is a skin-friendly herb, when mixed with coconut oil, becomes an effective remedy for dry skin. You can use this in consultation with the doctor especially if the baby is suffering from eczema.
How to Prevent Your Baby from Getting Dry Skin?
While dry skin in babies is easily corrected, it could be uncomfortable for your baby. Here are a few ways in which you can prevent your baby's skin from drying out.
Do not bathe your baby too frequently: Contrary to what you might think, a baby requires no more than three baths a week. You must also restrict the amount of time your baby spends in the water.
Massage with oil: The oil massage, not just aids in your child's development, it also ensures that too much oil is not removed from her skin.
Lukewarm water: Using hot water will strip the essential oils from your baby's skin. Use lukewarm water instead.
Use the right soap: Baby products are widely recommended for a reason. They are best suited for your baby and consider the sensitivity and delicate nature of your baby's skin. They are less harsh than soaps made for adults.
Play in water: If your baby loves playing in the water, then let her do so in clean water rather than soapy water. It is less drying and will not irritate her skin.

Baby laundry detergent: The clothes your baby wears can be abrasive to her skin if not washed with baby-friendly laundry detergent.

Sometimes, the dry patches on your baby's skin might turn red. This could possibly mean that she has eczema or atopic dermatitis. Mostly, baby dry skin eczema will clear if you moisturise the skin regularly. You should visit your doctor only if the redness persists even after a few days or itches despite moisturizing.
Ichthyosis is a rare genetic condition that shows dry skin with scaling and redness. It is accompanied by the thickening of the skin on the hands and soles. A dermatologist's evaluation is necessary for this condition.

Set Dosa
Set dosa is a popular breakfast dish of South India. Set dosas are small in shape and is always served in pairs. They are softer and spongier versions of the dosa and go well with chutneys and sambars. Add a dollop of butter before serving it and they'll taste heavenly.

Ingredients
2 cups rice
1 cup poha
½ cup urad dal
2 tsp methi seeds
Salt to taste

Method
Step 1
Wash and soak the rice, urad dal and fenugreek seperately for 4-5 hours.
Step 2
Wash the poha right a few minutes before grinding the ingredients.
Step 3
Add the soaked ingredients, salt and the washed poha in a blender and grind them well with 3/4 cup water.
Step 4
Grind to a fine paste and set aside for about 8 hours for the batter to ferment. Hotter the weather, the faster the batter ferments.
Step 5
The batter would rise to twice it's volume after fermentation. Mix the batter well till it settles in the container.
Step 6
Heat a pan well and pour a laddle full of the batter on it. Dab the batter on the pan gently to spread, do not spread it like the usual dosa.
Step 7
Cook on medium flame and pour a little oil on the sides of the set dosa. Cover the pan with a lid and you'd notice that set dosa doesn't need to be flipped. The upper side of the set dosa gets cooked as well when covered and cooked.
Step 10
Serve with side dishes of your choice.

Ask questions: The first and foremost thing is to keep asking questions to your doctor about nursing and lactation. Prepare yourself well. Seek help from your friends who have had good nursing experience.
Seek hospital resource help: Ask for nursing staff or a lactation consultant. Learn about effective breastfeeding before leaving the hospital. Whenever you are ready to feed, call your nurse and take help. There is no harm in calling up the nurse again and again.
Get yourself mentally prepared: Preparing yourself mentally is one important aspect of being a mother, you have to take care of yourself first before anything else. Feeding the baby is one big task, and your baby will need you frequently in order to able to quickly feed your baby you need to feel fresh too.
Warm compression: Many of us lactating mothers often face a problem of engorged breasts, and some of us have blocked ducts. A heating pad or warm compress like a wet washcloth will come in handy. You can even use a flax pillow. If you are looking for home remedies, drink carom seeds water (popularly known as ajwain in Indian households) and use its water as a warm compress. It will surely help you. It worked best for me. I used a breast pump too, and initially, it hurt, but all that pain vanished when I saw my baby.
Use cool compressor for sore breasts: After nursing, some of us experience sore breasts. In this case, you can try using a cool pack.
Feed with a bottle sometimes: You can introduce the bottle to your baby after 1-2 months. Many experts believe it is best to introduce a feeding bottle when your baby is 6 to 8 weeks old. Start with one bottle a day per feed, and you can increase the frequency when need be.
You can always use a breast pump to store breast milk, and you can let your partner feed your baby with a feeding bottle. This can help create a bond between your baby and your partner. Also, remember to use a glass bottle instead of a plastic bottle. It is safer for your baby.

A. Some women may have vomiting throughout their pregnancy. The most common reason for vomiting during the third trimester may be gastritis. Make sure you eat small frequent meals, preferably every 2 hours. If your baby's weight during checkups are adequate..u needn't worry much about this. You can also consult your doctor and take anti emetics and PPIs if the vomiting is bothering you or interfering with your daily activities.

A. Constipation in Babies less than 1 year is very common and more in formula fed babies and also when initially the semi solid food has been started after 6 months .
you can givfhe bonnisan drops and some enzyme preparations in proper dose suggested by doctor and cow's milk should be avoided before 1 year of age . Medications are required but it should be given only in medical supervision .

A. no need to worry about the frequency and colour of the stool if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid.
also there is no need to worry about the smell of the stool if the consistency is normal.
you have to meet the doctor if it is watery inconsistency or hard consistency otherwise semi solid to solid stool is normal.
also passing stool after taking food is normal. r
