One thing that you should take utmost care about is that any bug repellant or insect repellant used in the room should be a natural, organic solution. To ensure your baby is healthy, make sure the room is chemical-free.
Ensure adequate ventilation and steady temperature are present in the room. A baby-friendly temperature, which is ideally between 27 and 28 degrees should be maintained in the room at all times. You can use an air conditioner for the same.

I consulted my gynaecologist and found out that I had PCOD??! I was shattered and couldn't accept this?. My family consoled me and supported me in my struggle to get pregnant. ❤
I then started my treatment which was a 6-month course and throughout which I had many dos and don'ts to follow?⚕️?. I was ready to do anything to fulfil my dream of having a little baby in my arms.? Then I realised that getting pregnant is not as easy as it seems. There are many stages of conception and it's all natural. Time passed and day by day my hopes built up☺. Finally, I completed my treatment and I was asked to go for a scan.? I was excited but also nervous and many thoughts were running through my head?. Finally, it was time for the scan and as soon as I got my report, I was filled with joy.? Everything was positive and now I was fully ready to conceive. ?✔
My pregnancy was a dream come true to me?. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the 2 pink lines on the pregnancy kit! I danced and rejoiced???. My family who supported me throughout this journey were overjoyed. But this was just the beginning..?.I had many obstacles to go through. I was taken care a lot. I went for my first 3-month scan during which I came to know that I had a low lying placenta and I was advised complete rest till the 7th month??. As my pregnancy was a precious one, I didn't want to take any risk❎. I didn't step out of my house for about 4 months. Then finally the day came. I scheduled my 7th-month scan and hoped that everything would be fine now.? Yes..Everything was normal. The baby was enjoying inside and I could feel his kicks day and night❤. His little movements gave me confidence and made me feel like a new mom?. Soon I was 9 months pregnant and it was time for a final scan. I wasn't worried much but a little nervous for sure. ?Unfortunately, I returned with lots of tension and worries. My baby was oblique. I was brokenhearted as I didn't want to go for a C- section??. I wanted normal delivery and the biggest reason was that I always wanted to feel the pain that my mom took when she delivered me.? But I was tired of fighting it out. I just left everything to my destiny and prayed day and night for the well-being of my baby.?
Finally, the most awaited day..☀️.the most memorable day of life came. I delivered a cute little baby boy normally.? My mother-in-law who is also a staff nurse helped in my delivery. She always had confidence in me. ?No one could ever do what she did for me. I held my little baby in my arms and close to me.❤ His beautiful eyes spoke to me and called me MOM. ?
I realised that this journey wasn't easy. ?Hats off to all the moms who take so much struggle for their kids. This journey made me realise that being a mom is the most precious gift that a woman can get. ?The arms of your children around your neck are your ornaments that will always shine. ?

It is said that babies are a gift from God. But at times, your baby will be so fussy that you will wonder where she came from! What are these behaviour issues your baby is displaying? Is it even normal?

1. Refusal to Bottle Feed
Now that your baby is 3 months old, you may want to get him off the breast and onto the bottle. It is no easy task to make this switch. After all, baby is accustomed to the warmth and comfort of breastfeeding. It is crucial to pick the right time and the right process to get baby started on the bottle. Firstly, you need to encourage baby without being forceful or aggressive. Forceful behaviour will only upset or anger baby, and make him flat-out refuse the bottle. Try out a variety of techniques like giving bottle in the dark while breastfeeding, making your spouse or another caregiver feed baby, and experimenting with various kinds of teats and breast-like bottles.
2. Bouts of Moodiness
Babies this age tend to be moody. She will display a range of heightened moods including assertiveness, anger, grouchiness and amusement. Sometimes, this can get very confusing, such as when your baby laughs right in the middle of a temper tantrum, and vice versa. This could be a sign of teething or a growth spurt. There's little you can do to counter baby's moodiness, other than chanting 'this too shall pass'. Because as hard as it is to deal with, it is just a phase that your baby will outgrow.
3. Will bite anything
As baby starts to get his primary teeth at about six months, he will become a full-fledged biter, just looking for something to bite. Although this is normal and doesn't last long, it can get painful, especially if your baby is biting you during breastfeeding. Nip it in the bud by looking her in the eye and firmly yet calmly saying “No biting”. If her behaviour persists, encourage her to use a teething toy.
4. Jealousy
So you thought only older kids can be jealous? Babies six months onwards have been seen to be jealous when their mother pays attention to another baby. Research has shown that “They kick and cry furiously until they have her full attention once more (Laurent 2009)”. Jealousy is a sign of bonding: baby knows who you are and wants your complete attention. The fix? Give her all the attention in the world. And as he gets older, teach him to accept it when you give attention to other children.
5. Picky Eating
As your baby turns six months old, you will start introducing solid foods. And that's when the trouble will start. Babies tend to be naturally suspicious of new food, so go slow. Start with one food at a time and wait for about 4 days before introducing another one. This will help you to easily spot signs of a food allergy. Also, introduce any new food in the morning so that you have the entire day ahead of you to spot and deal with adverse effects such as an upset tummy. Never try to force feed – if baby is refusing to open his mouth or turns his head away from you even after a few tries, try again some other day.
