Digital Pregnancy Test - Results and Accuracy
As everything in this age is going digital, it should not come as a surprise to come across an electronic pregnancy test kit in the market. We are usually aware of the simple kits that show a blue line or two lines confirming the pregnancy, but not many are aware of digital pregnancy test and how it works. A digital display clearly indicates the presence or absence of pregnancy and has low chances of false results, and clearly is a better alternative.
How Do Digital Pregnancy Tests Work?
The principle on which the digital pregnancy test kits work is the same as that of any other pregnancy kit available in the drug store.
For the kit to provide the right result, a strong sign of pregnancy needs to be present. The fertilization of the egg in the woman needs to successfully take place by the sperm, which gives rise to multiple zygotes working together to form a healthy embryo. Travelling down the tubes, the embryo attaches the uterus and causes implantation bleeding, which is generally one of the initial signs of the presence of a pregnancy. But this cannot be detected by the kit. It is only when the placenta forms that the human chorionic gonadotropin hormone (hCG) is secreted. This is precisely what is detected by the pregnancy kits.
The hCG can be detected in the urine and makes its presence there only when the secretion reaches a certain threshold. The pregnancy sticks contain specific chemicals that react to the presence of hCG. Simple sticks normally show a blue line but the digital pregnancy sticks display clear information.
Digital Pregnancy Test Results
Just like other pregnancy sticks, the result time of a digital pregnancy stick also has a limited lifetime. The test results cannot stay present forever. Every stick has a specific symbol to depict the result of the test, and that is shown only for some time. Other sticks up showing text or animated icons, too.
1. Positive Result
If you conduct the test in an appropriate manner and you are, in fact, pregnant, then the digital pregnancy stick will show you a sign to indicate the presence of a pregnancy.
Most sticks end up showing an arithmetic plus sign to indicate a positive result of the test, meaning that you are pregnant. Fewer advanced sticks may choose to display the word “pregnant” or even show animated icons to make the message clear. Most of the times, these messages are present on the screen only for a minute or so, before disappearing completely.
2. Negative Result
Thankfully, the digital pregnancy sticks are much clearer at indicating an absence of pregnancy or a negative result, as compared to the usual pregnancy sticks.
In a normal stick, if your urine does not contain the hCG hormone in the required quantity, the stick does not display any line or change in any way. However, a digital pregnancy stick will clearly state a negative result on the screen. This can either be in the form of an arithmetic negative sign, or the word “none” or similar methods.
An improved messaging of such sorts makes it crystal clear about the result and provides a better result than normal sticks.
How Accurate Are Digital Pregnancy Tests?
On a generic level, digital pregnancy tests are comparatively more accurate than the other pregnancy sticks. However, their accuracy can differ based on the brand of the stick that is being used.
Certain sticks are powerful enough to detect the presence of a pregnancy within six days from the date you have missed your period. Most of the common sticks do require a week or more to pass from your period to be able to detect good levels of hCG in your urine. The threshold of hCG that most digital pregnancy sticks function at is approximately around 25mlU per millilitre of urine. The moment the amount of hCG crosses this value, the stick displays the result to be positive.
Can Digital Pregnancy Tests Show False Results?
The chances of a digital pregnancy stick showing false results are minimal as compared to the usual pregnancy sticks since there is no possibility of a faint line visibility or late development of a line in these cases.
Most of the false results are a result of human error. The stick might have experienced external substances that have caused it to provide a wrong result, or you might have taken the test quite early where the hCG levels might still be below the threshold.
Can a Digital Pregnancy Test Give False Positive Result?
A false positive result is quite the rarity when it comes to using a digital pregnancy kit for the test. Handling the pregnancy stick improperly could trigger it to show a false positive on the display.
In certain cases, the chemicals present on the stick could react to any organisms present in the urine, as a result of an infection or a disease. The presence of fertility drugs could also introduce certain substances in the urine, which could react with the stick and provide a false positive result.
Are Digital Pregnancy Tests More Sensitive?
Most women wonder whether digital pregnancy tests are more accurate or sensitive as compared to their counterparts. While the increment in accuracy might not be present to a huge degree, there are different sticks available in the market that can detect the presence of hCG at lower thresholds as well.
Checking whether you are pregnant and confirming it is one of the toughest things for a woman when she’s trying hard to conceive successfully. Using a digital pregnancy test for a second confirmation can help you put your mind to ease and make the right decision.

Why Is It Important for Parents to Get Their Children Vaccinated?
Vaccines have the ability to protect both children and adults from life-threatening diseases. Expecting a child in the midst of a pandemic has been challenging. My family has been terrified of accidentally exposing my 9-month-old daughter to any danger. Precautions and appropriate vaccines help to prevent a variety of illnesses. Although babies and toddlers may not look forward to immunisation day, we, as parents, must not overlook its significance.
Watching my daughter get her immunisation shots is painful. They scream, but tears are a minimal price to pay for the long-run benefits. One should not delay or miss scheduled vaccinations. I would like to share a few tips that came in handy in comforting
my baby post her vaccine dose –
• I used to swaddle my daughter after the shot tightly. It used to calm her down almost instantly.
• Making calming sounds close to her ear would also help control her restlessness.
• Another tip that worked wonders was applying gentle pressure around the injection site. Massaging her in that spot would relieve her pain.
• Swinging the baby in your arm or even distracting the baby with a toy can be helpful.
• Mothers can also consider feeding their babies soon after the shot, which would help them forget the pain.
My suggestion to all new mothers reading this article is to plan your child’s immunization based on her schedule. It is essential to know her sleep and eating routines. The best time is possible in between her feed time and sleep time. A good nap makes the child forget about the immunisation experience. Be extremely watchful of fever and swelling near the injection spot after vaccination. Consulting a physician is recommended only if the symptoms do not vain away even after three days.
My husband and I both make time for doctor’s consultations and vaccinations. Having us beside helps her recover faster and more cheerfully.

Why Faking an Orgasm is Completely Okay
Sometimes, romance is simply not enough to spark your sexual desire. The question of women faking orgasms is therefore valid and surprisingly, it can actually improve your sex life! Better still, it can create a stronger emotional bond between the two of you.
Faking the big ‘O’? Maybe you don't want to hurt your husband, or maybe you want to turn yourself on. Orgasms are the ultimate sensations, enough to make you feel euphoric. But for women, it’s not easy to always reach a climax and every so often, you may fake it. It doesn't make you a liar; it just means you want to please your man and yourself at the same time.
Top Reasons Why Women Fake Orgasms
1. You’re not in the mood
How many times have you felt like saying this? Of course, you won't mind a little bit of cuddling, hugging and sleeping in his arms, but the act of sex may not always be appealing. This is when women consider faking orgasms. After all, keeping your husband's interests in mind is also important just like he keeps yours! Anticipate his desires like you want him to anticipate your emotions. It may just get you in the mood.
2. You want to turn yourself on
Moaning and fantasising can actually lead to the real thing. If you’re 'doing it', try to get yourself turned on. A little foreplay and shutting out unwanted thoughts from your mind can give you a real orgasm or at least arouse you enough to enjoy making love. If faking an orgasm can excite your man, then seeing him so passionate can make you feel excited as well.
3. You don't want to hurt your man
This is another reason why women fake orgasms; they hate the look of disappointment on their husband's face. The good news is that faking a climax can actually spice up your bedroom chemistry. It’s also a secret way to keep your man interested in you. A little seductive moaning will help him feel confident in his lovemaking abilities and that could in turn arouse you. Wow!
4. To give him direction
Sometimes you prefer faking an orgasm rather than coming up with an explanation why you’re not climaxing. Besides, faking it can be a way to give him directions. For instance, maybe you like the way he kisses you while making love and there are other things you don’t like. Instead of telling him outright, you can steer him where you want to.
5. To communicate
Good communication is the key to making a relationship last. Why do women fake orgasms then instead of just talking it over? The fact is, and you know it already, men and women are biologically different. It may be hard for you to climax if you're too stressed out, for instance. Faking a climax can be a good way to feel sexually and emotionally connected to your husband.
There are many reasons, myths and facts about women faking orgasms. But contrary to popular belief, there’s nothing negative about it. It’s just a way of turning yourself on and trying to communicate with your man. After all, faking it may often be a quick way to make it real! Read more

2020 A Challenging year of our life: health, wealth, work and family
As an extremely challenging year and now it has come to an end now. Thecoronavirus pandemic gave a shiver and gave a lot of trouble to the entire world. This 2020 is the worst of all the years that I have seen. Many have suffered illness and many
lost their dear ones. So many people who love to travel the world have locked inside the houses. The most frustrating thing was managing kids at home, all the parents got frustrated. The kids were so unhappy at home no school no play grounds and no meeting
with friends and teachers. The only thing that kept my children happy is shopping online their favourite dresses and sweat shirts.
I ask and request each and every one to follow the safety regulations. Please follow the safety guidelines everyday and teach children the same. The health and safety guildelines are the only thing that we need to teach our children. I know everyone of
us are frustrated being a parent we are unable to entertainchildren all the time. But we can use this situation to spend more time with them and teach them what we know and learn what we can do for them. So many people are working from home
and I strongly believe that we can treat this as family time ( may be a little longer time one).
This is also time for us to be cautions about electronic gadgets our children use. Watching all the time will effect our children’s heath and metal growth. Please be careful don’t let your child watch TV or tan or laptop for a long time. Needless to say
the contents that they watch is also very important in terms of what they are going to learn from watching.
Now the year ending is here and I wish the new year bring us good health and happy children.
Those who are pregnant I wish them a very safe delivery. I also wish the newborns who are going to come a healthy and happy life.
