Flaxseeds rarely trigger any allergies in babies, making them generally safe to be given to any babies. The ideal age is usually the time when babies are prepared to start digesting solids, making them a great fit when your little one is about 9 months old or so.
Benefits Of Flaxseed For Infants And Kids
Apart from the nutrition that they provide, there are tons of properties that benefit the baby directly or indirectly in numerous ways.
1. Anti-Cancerous Properties
One of the rare constituents that flaxseeds contain are known as lignans. These are known to protect the body from numerous possibilities that could cause cancers presently or later on in life.
2. Protection From Respiratory Disorders
Many studies have reported that flaxseeds have also ended up substantially reducing the risks of various problems associated with the respiratory system. The culprits in this regard are various compounds that cause inflammation. By hampering their production, flaxseeds reduce the chances of asthma, migraine and other disorders from emerging.
3. Brain And Eyesight Development
The body of babies and kids is still developing in various ways, especially in terms of brain growth and the improvement of eyesight. Omega-3 fatty acids play a vital role in this regard since they pretty much stimulate this development. Flaxseeds contain alpha-linolenic acid, which allows the body to build the omega-3 acids and support the overall growth.
4. Streamlining Digestion
The amount of fiber in flaxseeds is what makes it a favourite amongst health fanatics since it works on the bowel movement and puts back the normal functioning of the digestion system in a jiffy.
5. Source Of Protein
Proteins play a huge role in a child’s development, providing them with the energy they require for metabolic activities, as well as the internal growth of other organs. Flaxseeds provide all of it within a nice package with multiple compounds to go along with it.
Possible Side Effects Of Flaxseeds On Children
The multiple advantages of flaxseeds might get you all excited to start using them in your child’s food preparations right away. However, the superfood that it is does not come without the potential side effects it might cause.
Certain cases have been observed where flaxseeds have ended up increasing the susceptibility for easy injuries and bleeding to occur.
The chances of allergies are slim but itching, rashes, and a wheezing sensation might occur if your child does tend to have one.
Most children to face problem of gas and farting after eating flaxseeds.
The constituents of flaxseeds can, at times, lead to diarrhea and loose motions if they are eaten in large proportions, owing to its laxative effect.
There is a possibility that flaxseeds could interact with ongoing medicines and supplements reducing their intended effect.
How To Store Flaxseeds?
Flaxseeds can decay quite easily if they aren’t stored in the right manner. Storing them in the refrigerator is the best way to store them. If the seeds are whole, these can last for up to 2 years when stored properly.
Can You Use Flaxseed Oil As A Substitute For Other Cooking Oils?
Since flaxseed oil can also be obtained, you might think of using it as a base oil in your child’s food preparations. But that is a bad idea. Flax oil is not meant to be used in cooking and any exposure to heat will immediately cause it to burn and be spoilt.
How To Include Flaxseed In The Child’s Diet?
Flaxseeds can go with numerous food items. Making them a part of your child’s diet can be possible in different ways if your little one is young or has grown up to be more than a year old.
In Baby's Diet
Choosing to include flax seeds with baked items is not a good idea since it can prevent absorption of all the constituents in an appropriate manner. To be able to bring the most benefit, these seeds need to break down completely within the body and be absorbed by the digestive system.
When giving your baby some porridge or yoghurt, mix a few seeds with it.
If your baby is at the teething stage, you can include flaxseeds in the recipes you use to make edible teething biscuits for your little one.
As he comes closer to being a year old and starts having a little meat, ground flax with meatballs and chicken nuggets can be a good pairing as well.
Garnishing a few seeds with purees that you give your baby can be digested really well.
Once he starts having cereals, mixing flax oil or oatmeal can taste better with the other ingredients.
In The Diet Of A Child Above 1 Year
As cooperative your baby might have been in the early years, he might not like flaxseeds as he starts growing up, deeming it as a distraction or an unwanted entity. But you can still find great ways to include them without him figuring it out.
If your child is a fan of soups and other vegetable stews, mixing the flaxseeds with other garnishing items can work as a great camouflage and a nutritive addition, too.
While making ketchup and other dips at home, combine ground flaxseeds with other spices to make these sauces healthier without affecting their taste.
The inclusion of flaxseeds in the batter of cakes and cookies can be the best way for your kid to have them in his diet.
When making a tasty smoothie for your child, add in flax seeds and he will barely be able to tell them apart.
Flaxseeds are used for numerous purposes by people and even by certain nutritionists. Right from using flaxseed oil for child for constipation to including them as a supplement for enhanced health, your children can benefit from them when administered in the appropriate amounts. Rest assured they will warm up to their presence in the diet after a few instances.

Yes. The common cold is contagious and if your child comes in contact with someone who has it, he/she could contract it. Even touching any surfaces that are infected with the rhinovirus can catch a cold. You touch it, you get near it, you come in contact with it, you get it - as simple as that.

1. Ear infections
Some kids develop a viral ear infection with the common cold. If the cold persists for more than 3 days and your child has a fever of over 38 degrees Celcius, you can be sure it's an ear infection.
2. Asthma

Medical Treatment for a Cold
Colds usually clear up on their own after a while but if you want to give your child medicines, you may consider acetaminophen or ibuprofen based on their age or weight. Never give kids aspirin since its use has been linked to a syndrome known as the 'Reye Syndrome.' For cough suppression and post-nasal drips, you may consider using decongestants. Naproxen is suitable for children under 15 years old for treating cough besides ibuprofen.
Are Cold Medicines Safe for Children?
Here's what you have to know regarding using medications for the treatment of cold in children-
The FDA recommends that children below 2 years old should not be given cold medications or OTC (Over-the-Counter) remedies.

Home Remedies for a Cold in Kids

1. Sleep

Elevate the pillow or mattress. This will his sinuses to drain naturally and bring some relief. Rolled towels and yoga mats work just as well.

A cold-mist humidifier adds moisture to your kid's room which helps them beat or prevent the cold. Be sure to clean the filters regularly since mould and mildew may build up if left unchecked.
4. Hydration
Make sure your kids drink plenty of water, fresh fruit and vegetable juices and herbal teas to flush out the germs from their system. Hydration is key to treating the common cold.
5. Chicken Soup
Chicken soup is for the souls of those who have a common cold. Your grandma was right, it's a wonderful home remedy. The soup decongests while the broth hydrates.
6. Gargling
Take 1/4 tsp of salt, mix it in warm water and teach your child some gargling basics. Gargling relieves sore throats and lessens the pain.

Steam baths flush out mucus, helps kids breathe better, and finally, reduces their high body temperature, thus bringing down their fever.
8. Honey
If your child is over 1 years old, you could add a pinch of honey to his cough syrups. It works, trust us, except for kids under 1-year-old who may get botulism.
How to Prevent Your Child from Catching a Cold?
Although there's no specific vaccine for the common cold, there are different ways you can prevent your child from catching a cold-
1. Practice Proper Hygiene
Wash hands thoroughly before and after every meal. Make this a house rule. Encourage them to use disposable tissues for sneezing and coughing. Tell them to wash their hands with soap and water. If soap and water aren't available, an alcohol-based sanitizer will do.
2. Disinfectant
Wash your child's toys periodically and use a disinfectant to clean kitchen counters and tabletops.
3. No Sharing
Cups and plates shouldn't be shared across family members. Everybody will get their own utensils for drinking and eating. Label them, if needed and use disposable cups for occasions when a family member is sick.
4. No Contact
Make it a rule of thumb to not get close to those who have a cold, especially where children are concerned.
5. Choose An Appropriate Child Care Center
Where you send your child to for his basic schooling will factor a lot. Select child care centres with good hygiene policies in place and one that allows sick kids to stay back home.
6. Nutrition And Lifestyle
Keep your children physically active, get some exercise, and maintain proper nutrition in your diet. Lack of stress and a healthy lifestyle go a long way in preventing colds and boosting immunity.
When to Call the Paediatrician?
Although colds go away on their own, a visit to the paediatrician is warranted if your child experiences the following symptoms-
Fever of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit last for up to 12 weeks in newborn
High fever which lasts beyond 2 to 4 days
Loss of appetite
Abnormal drowsiness
Pain in the ears
Wheezing
Any other cold symptoms that fail to improve despite remedies and medications
Headache and cough
Prevention is always better than cure and the same goes for common colds. If you suspect your child has a cold, then give him plenty of rest, healthy foods and enough time to recuperate. Practice proper hygiene at school and home and take extra precaution when sending your kids outdoors.
If you follow the prevention tips outlined above, you won't have to worry about the cold and if your child's cold symptoms are worsening despite the above remedies, it's best to call or take him to the paediatrician.

And I love you a lot for this... तुझ्या अशा काही वागण्याने तुझ्या रोज प्रेमात पडते मी आणि अजून रोज तुझ्यामधली नवीन ' तू ' मला सापडते....नव्याने...पुन्हा...

How to Put Down Your Smartphone and Have Real Conversations
The age of smartphones comes with 'N' number of benefits, along with plenty of cons as well. One such thing ruined by smartphones is the concept of friendship. We carry our gadget buddies everywhere.Once, a couple of friends decided to hangout but there prevailed utter silence until their phones' buzzing sounds attracted their attention. Everyone decided to look at their phones, replied to the messages they received, and had beautiful smiles across their faces. This is how sad the reality of today's friendships is.This very instance reminded me of one such situation I had endured. I was with a childhood buddy having dinner. We were having a pretty decent chat up until her very first message buzzed. She took out her phone out, replied and then put the phone back in her bag. Our conversation continued like before but soon, vibrations, messages, and notifications flooded the air, her hands glued to the monstrous gadget and her eyes down with the occasional 'yes yes, hmm, uh-oh and it's ok'. I was upset, stopped talking, took my phone out and sent her a message - 'is this audible?' She was embarrassed by the lack of attention she was giving me, apologised, and then we had a wonderful time catching up on different things. Why are we so fixated on our mobile phones and conversations that happen on them, than with real people in the real world? Indeed, smartphones seem to have been created to make us a lot less smarter. I wouldn't deny the benefits of smartphones and how easy it is to start a conversation with someone; it does give us time to think about what we want to say and makes us feel more prepared. Friendship via the digital world is also very pleasant and emotionally comforting. But friendship in person is a blessing on a whole new level and the very experience of seeing someone's body language and expressions is priceless, and only a gadget-free real conversation can give you that.
How to Have a Real Conversation
When you are going to meet a friend, make sure you keep your message notifications on silent mode - no buzzing or tones of any sort. When you are not aware of the messages you're getting, you won't be compelled to look at them. If an emergency arises, people will call and not text.Keep special notifications for people in whose case emergencies can be expected; for example, your babysitter. So calls from them can be heard whereas every other casual call goes silent and can be attended to later.Everyone should have a 'no phone session' everyday for a few hours, especially when it comes to meeting with friends. We all know that the person sitting opposite to us is giving us their valuable time and many of them may have played a big part in making us who we are now. Thus, due respect should be given to them by paying them complete attention. So put that smartphone away, grab a few good friends, have real fun, make wonderful memories and have heartfelt conversations.

A. since the follicle size is 18 to 20 mm your ovulation may occur within 24 hours also so if you have intercourse with in that time it will be more effective to get conceived
your endometrial growth is not good enough for conception but still you can just try
