It ignites a child’s curiosity and triggers his interest.
It opens up a world of imagination for a child.
It helps a child understand the world around him by exploring his options and by representing one object with another.
It helps shape up a child’s physical skills, which include both gross motor and fine motor skills.
It helps a child learn about planning and implementation.
How to Encourage Constructive Play in Your Child
Here are some ways of encouraging your munchkin to get involved in constructive play:

2. Play with Your Child
The best way to gain your child’s attention into doing something is by start doing it yourself. If your child watches you playing with objects, your child will get involved too. So, be a role model and your child will learn.
3. Get Versatile Objects
Once your child gets hooked to something, he may want to do it all the time. So, get new objects that your child can play with both indoors and outdoors.
4. Let Your Child Explore
Never force children into constructing or making something that you want. Let your little one explore and make whatever his heart and mind desire.
5. Let Your Child Be
It is a great way of escaping from reality and moving into the world of fantasies. Letting the child do what he wants to do can help trigger your child’s imagination.
6. Invite Your Child's Friends
Children love to play with their friends or siblings. If you want your child to do something, gather his attention towards other children who are doing the same.
7. Make it More Interesting
If your child shows no interest in one idea or one method, you may try various other methods for gaining your child’s attention. Bright, colourful objects are the ones that gain maximum attention of the kids. So, give them a try.
8. Do Not Make it Look Tedious
Anything that looks complicated or your child feels hassled around may lose your child’s interest. Get stuff that is easy to handle and looks interesting.
9. Appreciate and Praise
Children feel happy and motivated whenever you praise or appreciate them for their efforts. In order to help your child explore possibilities, praise his initial and subsequent efforts too.

Tips For a Healthy Relationship with Inlaws. Issues and suggestions
Mother in laws were someday daughter in law, but still as we stay in indian society ninety percent inlaws failed to understand each other and they are not happy with their In-laws. The circle of mother in law and daughter in law healthy unhealthy relationships is goes on from years. Ekta Kapoor said perfectly right on her show title kyunki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi. A woman who is mother in law, definitely understand the life of daughter in law because she also once lived that life. Life of a girl being daughter, staying in parents house as girls born and raised there and then life of being daughter in law in a new home, spending whole life with new people is poles apart.
Issues which are Faced in families
The main issue is you get so much involved in family chaos that there is no time for self. You have to look after other family members, their choice, their happiness sadness will start matters to you then yours.
Your wishes or your bucket list becomes last.
Hardly for your Inlaws or for your husband you will be the priority.
The privacy which is given to you and to your husband is very little that may affect your relationship with your husband.
From your Inlaws you have to take permission and approval of everything which you wants to do, it can be from what you should cook in breakfast to what you should wear, there is no personal freedom.
Your inlaws may criticise you how you raise your child which may irritates you because your husband is not perfect one.
Tips For a Healthy Relationship
1.Have Positive Attitude
Think positive and believe that your inlaws are there to help you and support you because you need a helping hand and if it's a family member then there is no fear.
2.Your Beloved Partner's Family
My mother always says that she respect and do things for her mother in law because she raised her partner means my father. Whatever we have now is belongs to my grandparents also because they made their son capable to do things for us. I do appreciate this thinking.
3.Abstain Ego
It is that three letter word which kills relation. Don't let your ego damage the relation. Abridge the gap with love and trust. They are your own people with whom you will spend your whole life so don't compare your previous life with your parents and now when you are with your husband's family.
4.Don't take anything Personally
Make an effort to start the conversation, you are new member of the family and there is nothing bad in doing this but be ready to receive harsh words or bad behaviour by inlaws in return. Don't be surprised if you get snappy replies. Just remember they are your best man or woman's family member.
5.Don't be too Involved
Stay away from your inlaws family issue, it can happen that your inlaws will not share some family issues with you, if they don't involve you then give them their space, you are new in family and they can not share everything with you so it's okay.
6.Personal Time
Try to find some personal time for you and your husband on daily bases so that your relation with your husband doesn't get affected and you both don't feel the distance coming in between you.
7.Let your husband resolve the Conflict
Your husband is the only person who joints the knot between you and his family. He knows better that on which situation, how his family members will react. Share issues with him so that he convey in his way or the way his family will understand. But don't share every small small issues, he may think you are a complain box and you don't like anything about his family which is not true.
8.Be yourself
You are there now for rest of your life, so be the person who you are. You are also important and they also should know your likes dislikes and most important how the person you are. Read more

What Is Your Baby's Nursing Personality?
Just as adults have different personality types, even children and babies do! Babies have different nursing personalities which means every baby has a different style of nursing. Although there are many such styles, child psychologists, researchers and pediatricians have been able to categorize baby nursing styles into a few broad categories.
Here’s a look a different nursing personality styles:
1. Sucking and Looking
When your baby is around two months of age, his vision has started to develop. So he gets easily distracted while he is on feed. He might take the feed for a couple of minutes and then look around to see what is happening. Obviously your baby is curious to know what is happening in the surrounding. Babies with this kind of nursing personality need to be fed in a dark room or you can cover the baby with a cloth so that he is unable to see the surroundings
2. Food Lover
Babies with this type of nursing personality will suck the last drop of milk and savor it for long. They won’t leave your breasts and will lick them, play with them, just keep them in their mouth like they have really enjoyed their meal and are even savoring the end of it. If you have time in hand, let your foodie enjoy this moment.
3. Resting Style
Babies who have a resting style of nursing will suck a little and then rest a little. They are in no hurry to complete their food. Rushing these babies through the feeding process will frustrate them. They would just like to hang on to your breasts, suck and then rest during the feed for multiple times. Don’t be surprised if they fall off to sleep while taking the feed. A good idea will be to keep these babies entertained while they are on feed. For example, you can talk to them, play with them, hold their hands, keep them awake and alert so that they don’t sleep on empty stomach and then get up in 10 minutes and again ask for milk.
4. Excited Ones
Some babies get very excited at the sight of seeing mom’s breasts. In their excitement they quickly try to grasp the nipples in their mouth and then lose grip. This leads to their getting frustrated and they start crying. You can help them by offering your breasts just at the right time when they are ready to drink milk; try not to delay things for them. Rocking your baby while he is nursing will also help him calm down while taking on the feed.
5. The Barracuda
Babies who have barracuda type of feeding personality tends to suck the nipples with complete strength and aggression. They suck the nipples so energetically that most of the time this leads to sore muscles. A good idea is to keep changing your position and shifting between breasts during a particular feed. You can help your baby to latch on to your nipples is a comfortable way. Try to change the position of your baby’s mouth and moving it a bit with your finger. Due to your baby's enthusiastic sucking, there are high chances of you getting sore or cracked nipples. Use a nipple shield occasionally to reduce discomfort. Consult your doctor if the pain refuses to reduce.
Understanding these nursing styles will help you understand your baby better and encourage him to feed effectively. Good luck! Read more
