Take Good Care of Yourself if You Want to Be a Supermom
Becoming a mother is one of the most wonderful experiences of a woman's life. Once the doctor gives the baby in your arms, you know you will never love anything more. You learn to take care of your little bundle of joy and are always worried about him.
We all can agree that giving birth to a baby involves superpowers and only women are blessed with it. A woman also becomes a supermom after giving birth to her little angel. However, while taking care of the baby and attending to his needs, we often forget to take care of ourselves. Taking care is somewhat hardwired in women, so why not use this trait for our own benefit too. Yes, you can attend to your baby but focus on your health too. Here's what you should do to be a supermom.
1. Reward Yourself With Some 'Me Time'
Make sure you give yourself some 'me time' when you have a baby. 'Me time' will keep you at your best and can keep you going without exhausting yourself. You can spend just half an hour alone daily doing what you love. You can read a book, water your plants, take a walk, listen to music, bake a cake, swim, or just sit. Whatever it is that relaxes you and doesn't stress you out - do it. Believe me, this will make you ready for all the work you are supposed to do.
2. Exercise
We all worry about post-pregnancy weight. To shed the baby weight, try to exercise for 20 to 30 minutes. I know you would be thinking that you don't get time to wash your hair, how would you go to the gym and exercise. But it's not impossible; believe me, there is a DIY at home for everything. You can start exercising at home. Here's how you can go about it -
Download those exercise-at-home videos and start with the basic steps. Don't rush and do only those steps which are simple and doable.
Talk to fellow mommies and hire a yoga instructor for a few months. Yoga can works wonders for your health. It will heal your body and make you stronger.
Take a walk for a few minutes after dinner. You can take a stroll post dinner and enjoy the fresh air.
Remember that something is better than nothing. Don't worry about the time; you can exercise for just 10 minutes. Make sure you exercise every day. Take "baby steps" initially then pick up the pace gradually.
3. Visit a Spa or Bring Spa to Your Home
Women love to visit a spa, don't you? Now is the right time to pamper yourself. Yes, it is a costly affair so why not opt for DIYs sometimes instead.
Try to take a relaxed warm bath and add your favourite essential oil to the bath water. The aroma will soothe you and certain oils like lavender and orange have healing and rejuvenating properties which will work in your favour.
Try the mask therapy. There are good hydrating masks available online which will have a nice calming & relaxing effect if used before bedtime.
Get together with your bestie and use DIY facial, manicure/pedicure kits.
4. Ditch The Magical Diet Plan, Eat Healthy Instead
There is no such thing as a magical diet plan that will help you lose weight. The last thing you need now is dieting. But you do need to follow a good and healthy diet for your health as well as for your baby's health. Eat well; however, that does not mean you need to eat extra even if you are lactating. The simple thing to follow is to eat when you feel hungry. Eat everything you like but try a healthier version and eat in smaller portions. For instance, if you are craving for a pizza, have the homemade pizza that is made with a wheat base. This way, your calorie intake will be less but your carbs and vitamins intake wouldn't be compromised. Use fresh veggies in your pizza. You can also start taking smaller portions of sugar-laden desserts if you like.
Last but not least, please start loving yourself. Don't fret about that messy house or the unwashed laundry. You can always do all these things tomorrow. Today, just sit and relax, and have a nice time with your little one. I promise your tomorrow will be much better if you just take care of yourself.

Handmade Is Much More Meaningful, So Why Not Handmade Toys?
We know that raising a kid is an expensive affair and not all of us can afford to buy all the toys available in the whole wide world, neither do we have such big warehouses to store them. Also sometimes, we need more advanced or different versions of the same toys just because kids lose interest in them easily. So here are some ideas to make basic toys at home which will not only cheer up your kids but also give them the advantages of store-bought toys and develop creative thinking in them:
Set up different shaped containers like circle and square, and provide different shaped food items like gems for circle, biscuits for square. Have your child sort them in different containers according to shapes, and later eat them. You can also cut fruits in different shapes to make a healthier version and have your kid use a fork to move them around.
Cut out different shapes from a thick foam sheet and paste this sheet on cardboard base. Cut shapes from cardboard and paste pieces of pipes on the shapes to make the handle. Ask your baby to insert cardboard shapes in the foam base.
Collect lots of different sized cardboard boxes and cover them with coloured/ textured sheets and you have a stacking toy ready. Also just remove the lid part before covering and voila! You have a nesting game at hand.
In a multi- muffin pan, just colour the different moulds or put coloured rounds of paper in each mould and give your baby mixed coloured pompoms. You have an engaging sorting toy. To increase difficulty, ask you kid to use tweezers to pick and drop the pompoms.
Take an old cylinder-shaped box (something with a soft lid), and make lots of cuts in it. Now take cardboard, and cut out different breadth sticks from it which can fit into the holes we made earlier in the can. Now decorate and colour sticks with paint and tape. And colour each cut with sticks. A colour sorting game is ready.
Measuring cups make great nesting/stacking toys.
For a number sorting game, take plastic cups and place them upside down. Write numbers on them and make holes big enough to pass a pipe through the bottom of the cup corresponding to the numbers. In this activity your toddler has to fit in pipes into each hole; not only will it increase fine motor skills but also help in teaching numbers. You can also use this by asking your child to put pompoms or marbles in each cup equal to the number written.
Make a circle on a white sheet and draw 4 lines on it, such that you have a circle divided into 8 pieces. Colour each potion with a different colour. Cut out shapes from different coloured felt paper and ask the child to put shapes on the matching colour base sheet. You can make this more interesting by using gems or pizza toppings instead of basic shapes.
You can use your child's colourful socks as well as ask them to match colours and patterns to make pairs.
You can make sensory bags for little kids as well by filling a Ziploc bag with hair gel and putting small plastic toys in it. Seal the bag really well. The colourful squishy bag will delight your baby.
For an I-spy bag, just fill a transparent bottle with rice and put small plastic animals in it. Seal the lid. Let your baby shake the bottle and find new animals every time.
So, in this way, you can create new toys and find uses of old toys to keep your baby entertained. Just let your creative juices flow. Till then, happy playing!!

Care like the Creator - Our babies need to be cared for just like the Creator cares for all beings.
The Creator or God as many refer Him, cares for each one of us very, very patiently. He knows the ways, he can do activities much faster than we can. For Him everything can be done simply in the snap of a finger. Still, He chooses to wait patiently. He waits for us to learn things at our own pace. Similarly, our baby needs to learn things on their own at their own pace. We as adults can do things swiftly, be it feeding them, playing with them or simply holding an object. We just want to get things done.. like a to do list - tick, tick, tick. We should understand that if we do things for them -
1) They would never derive satisfaction from it;
2) They would learn dependency on us and
3) They would give up too easily.
As a result in the long run, they may turn out to be a dissatisfied and depressed person. After all, what is important? Our to do list now or our child's character development in the long run? Life is a bed of roses but with thorns as a by product. We need to teach them to remove the thorns on their own at a very early age. Early age impressions last a lifetime. So how do we do it? Simply let them observe you. You need not instruct them anything unless necessary. Simply let them observe and then take the back seat, change the role. Now you become the observer. They learn superfast and you will be amazed to see how your little one has grasped each and every move of yours according to his capacity. Research has shown that a child until the age of 7 is taking in maximum simply by observing. That is all he does. Only observes and learns. He doesn't learn by instruction but by observations.
Yes, there are times when we need to take an action because something may be dangerous for our child. We need to say no, we need to stop him from eating wrong or going on a dangerous path. So we need to go against our child's will and take certain measures. No need for any guilt because that's what the Creator does. He too brings certain situations in our life that we do not like but it's simply so that we can grow to be a better person. But this strict behaviour can be limited to only dangerous times that is not very often. And you will know what to do, when. Trust yourself!
So the gist is - Simply take lessons from the Creator to care for your baby!! Baby care is a gift given by God to all mothers. All we need to do is to tune in to that inner voice. It's an inner intuition that tells us what is right for our child :) Read more

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and it is quite difficult to say anything about it without personally examination and proper reports evaluation. So better to consult with your treating gynaecologist in person as she knew the exact health condition of your pregnancy and can guide you better.
Take care
