Motherhood is an art and my Dadi's and nani's legacy too😘😘😘😘
I realised the above words when one fine afternoon i was feeding my new born. And to the best of my memories "yes" "it's a legacy" which I have inherited from my mom and grandma unknowingly.
Day on day I have been replicating the daily activities for my own young one without realising that It was a recall from the book of my old memories of "how my mom and grandma used to do it" for my younger brother when I was 8.
While in my childhood I used to help my mom in the day to day activities for my brother like
1) feeding, cleaning, bathing, messaging
2) reciting nursery rhymes while feeding
3) forcing him to say the first words as "mumma" or papa when u know he is so small for that.
4) Tha art of learning his needs from his cry.
5) Waiting every moment for his new activities and moves and then.
6) Telling every family member about it.
7) Threading dreams for the future with the child.
8) Crying with the baby on his vaccination day.
9) The sweet constant worry to feed him before he cries.
10) A sweet fear that your little one would wake up even with the slightest noise or the footsteps of any member of the family.
11) Your extra care and vigilence towards what all products and medicines you use for your little one.
12) A very very sweet tradition at my home of always meeting a new born while you leave or even enters the house.
13) As an extra gesture of love always checking behind the doors of a new born baby's room for the slightest of his cry, smile, laugh at any moment of the day especially night.😜
14) Remembering all your Dadi maa's nuska's for his cold, stomach ache and sooth him from every possible worry.
15) Recall all the recipe's from your own childhood and feeding your loved one with the same.
A new born in a family are like the "season" in a year which changes and which is something one should cherish each day.
So keep remembering your Nani's and Dadi's nuska's and seize each moment with your young buddy.. Read more

Experience of Living with in laws during the pandemic situation
The corona virus pandemic has created a havoc in the country. It is sad to see people suffering due to the virus. There are many disadvantages of the pandemic as we all know. On the other hand, there are may advantages too.
Pandemic has brought people close together. My husband and I are working in software industry, hence we both got work from home option. I have delivered a baby girl in September 2020 in Bangalore. 3 months after my delivery, my husband and I moved to a city called Rajamundry, Andhra Pradesh, where my in laws live.
Rajamundry is a peaceful and serene city with lots of friendly people around. It is unlike the metropolitan cities where there is chaos, pollution and traffic. I could hear birds chirping, parrots on the trees, animals like pigs on thr streets, which are rarely experienced in metropolitan cities.
My brother in law and sister with their 2 year old son had also come to stay with us. Also, my uncle and aunt stay in the same building. So, it is a huge family living together in the same building.
It has been a great experience living with my in laws as they are warm and friendly people. I am getting lots of help from them in terms of cooking and taking care of my infant.
We celebrate festivals, Poojas and occasions like birthdays, anniversaries together. It is always fun to celebrate with people who love you. I realised that the senior citizens of the family are more warm towards their grandchildren and they love them more than the parents. The kids love them more too.
One best thing that I have learnt by living with my in laws like how to get compromised on small situations in order to maintain a long lasting relationships.
In conclusion, living with my in laws has been an amazing experience and I would love to live here for more time. Read more
