How to Do
Cut out big, round eyes, legs, ears, nose, and wings of an owl from the chart paper.
Then, trace the wings on the printed sheet and cut it out.
Paste the printed paper wings onto the chart paper wings.

"क्षमा सहमी घबरायी हुई घर आई" आते हीमाँ माँ ने पूछा क्या हुआ बेटी ? आज स्कूल से आने में देर क्यों हुई ? क्षमा ने बताया" आज न माँ हम सभी सहेलियों ने स्कूल से वापस आते समय रास्ते में,जहाँ राखी का घर है," वहाँ लोगों की काफी संख्या में भीड़ देखी" हम लोग थोड़ा ठहरकर मालूम करने गए, तो पैरों तले जमीन खिसकती गई" मैं एकदम भौंचक्की रह गई, जब मैंने सुना कि "राखी अब इस दुनिया में नहीं रही", अस्पताल में दम तोड़ दिया उसने," काफी जल गई थी बेचारी"। लोगों को कहते सुना, ससुराल वालों ने दहेज के लोभ में ऐसा किया ।
अभी पिछले साल ही तो 12वी उत्तीर्ण की थी उसने, और हमारी स्कूल शिक्षिका ने राखी के माता-पिता को समझाने का प्रयास किया भी था । "कहा था," आपकी बेटी ने इस बार अव्वल नंबर पाए हैं, उसकी पढ़ाई आगे भी जारी रखियेगा", पर उन्होंने किसी की भी बात सुने बगैर ही अपना फैसला लेते हुए राखी का रिश्ता, उनके समीप गांव में तय कर दिया था । दिखने में बहुत सुंदर और मासूम थी, राखी। हमारी सीनियर होने के नाते और एक ही स्कूल में पढ़ने के कारण, वह पढ़ाई के बारे में हर चीज़ हम लोगों के साथ शेयर करती थी।
"सुनते ही माँ ने फौरन कहा, बेटी फिर स्कूल में शिक्षक-शिक्षिकाओं ने कुछ नहीं कहा, या कोई ठोस कदम नही उठाए?? "क्योंकि हो न हो वह पूरे स्कूल परिवार की बेटी थी" तो स्कूल प्रशासन को तो सख्त कार्यवाही करने का प्रयास करना ही चाहिए । "आज कल भारत सरकार द्वारा नारी प्रताड़ना के संबंध में कई निर्धारित नियम एवं कानून बनाए हैं", हम सबको मिलकर अन्याय के विरुद्ध आवाज़ उठाने हेतु उनका पालन करना नितांत आवश्यक है ।
"हाँ माँ, क्षमा ने कहा और रोने लगी, आँखों में अश्रुओं की धारा बह निकली, कहने लगी जब से शादी हुई थी राखी की, तब से दहेज के लिए ससुराल वालों ने बहुत प्रताड़ित करना शुरू कर दिया। पर राखी, चुपचाप अन्याय सहती रही और अपने माता-पिता से फोन पर बात करते समय, सब ठीक-ठाक है यहाँ चिंता न करें, पति का व्यवसाय भी अच्छा चल रहा है, ऐसा ही कहती थी। उसके माता-पिता ने भी ससुराल जाकर स्थिति मालूम भी करना ज़रूरी नहीं समझा । " शादी से पहले सब मालूम करना चाहिए था ना"??
" क्षमा ने थोड़ा संभलकर माँ से कहा, कल स्कूल में शिक्षक-शिक्षिकाओं ने अवकाश घोषित कर, राखी के घर के सामने जुलूस रखा है। "हम सभी उसमें शामिल होने जा रहे हैं, और तो और "राखी ने मरते समय पुलिस प्रशासन को अपना बयान भी सही नहीं दिया" था।उस बेचारी ने - खाना बनाते समय जल गई - ऐसा बताया ।
फिर भी हमारे स्कूल प्रशासन की तरफ से सभी मिलकर यही गुहार करेंगे कि ससुराल पक्ष के विरूद्ध ठोस कार्यवाही की जाए और उन्हें कड़ी से कड़ी सज़ा दी जाए, तभी राखी के मायके के पक्ष को सही न्याय मिल सकेगा और "राखी की आत्मा को शांती मिलेगी" ।
मेरी ऐसी सभी नारियों से अनुरोध है कि "अन्याय सहना भी एक घनघोर अपराध है, जिससे हमें ही बाहर निकलना होगा" नारी प्रधान देश कहते तो हैं सभी पर उस प्रकाश रूपी शक्ति को हमें ही अपनी पूरी ताकत से सब जगह जगमगाते हुए फैलाना होगा, " राखी की तरह मृत्यु को गले लगाते हुए नहीं, बल्कि अन्याय के विरुद्ध आवाज़ उठाने के साथ ही अपराधियों को न्यायिक रूप से सजा दिलवाकर"......।
