How to Develop Attention Span in Your 6-12 Months Old
Remember the day you first held your little one? You looked at her little fingers and toes, wondered if she looked anything like you, couldn't contain the joy when she first looked at your through those alert eyes. How time has flown! She is now growing and shocking you with all her many skills, including how she focuses on things. If you are looking to help your angel develop her attention span further, there are a few activities and exercises you can try out with her. Let's find out what they are.
Cognitive development in your baby is an essential requirement and being a parent you should continuously contribute towards it. Right from the prime age of 6 months, your baby will start developing the cognitive skills rapidly. Since your little one's mind is easy to mould, she will observe whatever is in front of her immediately and focus on it. The age between 6-12 months is the perfect time to develop attention span in your baby. You must have observed by now that your little one gets engaged in anything she sets her eyes on. This is when her attention span is beginning to develop and there are some tried and tested ways to hone this skill.
Usually, at the age of 6-12 months your baby will easily get distracted and the attention span will last only for a minute or a two. It is now crucial that you find ways to develop the attention span in your baby. Developing this trait will increase the power of focus in your child. Focus is a crucial element in life and it will help your little one to achieve academic, athletic and creative heights. Let's look at what you can do to help her attention span further develop.
1. Avoid TV and Other Gadgets
Addiction to TV and other gadgets at a very young age can cost you a bomb in terms of your child’s development. The same time wasted on TV can be utilized in some physical other learning activity. This will improve the focus more and also keep your baby’s body healthy. ||
2. Acclimatize
Let your baby explore her surroundings and choose to focus on anything that grabs her attention. This will help her to learn and associate much better than when she is forced to observe things.
3. Safe Environment
Your baby would like to spend more time in an area which is well-guarded and safe. For. E.g. Her bassinet or a crib. Babies at this age will not be able to stay longer at one place naturally, but the trait can be reversed in a confined safe crib. Let your little one discover her toys in her own little space. This will help her focus longer on things in her own periphery.
4. Let Loose
Leave your baby at a little distance from you sometimes. Let her try to figure things out on her own. When your baby is alone and self dependent for some time, the focus and attention span will increase dramatically.
A cozy and secure environment at home will always help your little one develop the attention span. Introduce your baby to musical toys or anything that may keep her engaged for a longer period, this not only helps increase attention, but also helps your baby develop cognitive skills. Over and above, all babies are naturally curious so you needn't worry about a rigid way of increasing attention span, simply stick around to watch and guide her and things will go smoothly! Read more

Your Baby This Week : 10 Month Week 1 Old
Your baby may still only babble, but don’t underestimate how much he understands. Babies pick up on the meaning of the words and your voice before they learn to speak. Your child may even respond to simple requests or in the words of the discipline, as a warning, “No!” Talk to him about what you are doing, wherever you are on the road, and the names of the food that he eats, and say his name. Some children warm up immediately to every new face. If they are experiencing stranger anxiety, they may feel comfortable only with a select group of family and friends. How do you introduce a sitter then? If possible, have the sitter visit ahead of time so that your child can get to know her well in advance. Ask her to approach your baby slowly and gently. With time, your child will get used to her and they’ll become the best of friends!

Resolutions for Mothers on Mother's Day
Every mother has some things that she wishes to change in herself. Join the many moms out there who are making their Mother’s Day resolutions to become better mothers. Start your “new year of motherhood” from Mother’s Day with a firm resolve and positive changes.
There is hardly any person who doesn't draw up a long list of resolutions for the start of the New Year. This time make your Mother’s Day resolutions to mark the beginning of a new year of parenting. Think about all the blunders that you made in the year gone by and resolve to change them this time around. What’s your resolution for this Mother’s Day?
Choosing Your Resolutions for Mother’s Day
1. Talk Positive
Most of the times mothers find themselves repeating “no” or any other variation of the word to their children. It is always about what they should 'NOT' do. While it is important to make sure that the children learn the right way to go about life, the tactic for doing so can be improved. Instead of telling them what not to do, make a resolution to tell them more of what they should do.
2. Call it a Day
For working moms the biggest challenge is not to check e-mails constantly or bring work home from office. There is always much more work to do than they can manage with their limited time. However, it is important that you fix a time after which you devote all your time and attention only to your family. It will help you relax as well as bond with your family.
3. Pay Attention
While mothers find it irritating when their grown-up children spend more time on the phone, laptop or video games, you must take a pause and think whether you do the same. How many times do you check your phone when you are sitting with your child? This year putting the phone away should be one of the top five resolutions for mothers.
4. Juggling Between Baby and Me Time
One of the biggest change that happens in life once a child is born is that they monopolize all your attention and time. Everything you do is guided by the needs and wants of your child. While that is definitely a sign of being a good parent, at the end of the day you need to take care of yourself too. Resolve to strike a balance that gives you some time out to do what you need to do as well.
5. Hubby Time
After becoming a mother, the one person who takes the back seat is the husband. While you tend to remember him every time you are frustrated with the way things are with your life and baby, he might appreciate getting some attention from you. Spend time with him, go out for a surprise date night and you will love it too!
This Mother’s Day, give your family and yourself the gift of being a better mom and person by resolving to weed out all the things you dislike. You are doing a good job already, but you can improve it further by making these small changes. It is better to start off with your resolutions while your child is small. Read more

5 Perfect Dresses for Valentine's Day
A new mom? Not sure what to wear for Valentine's day? Choosing an outfit can often be difficult, especially after pregnancy and childbirth. Understanding your body and embracing the newly formed curves will revive your confidence in yourself, and you'll need this confidence to dress yourself in the most exquisite dress on Valentine's day. It is a day where perfect is used with almost everything -the perfect date (read husband), the perfect venue, the perfect gift, the perfect make-up, and, of course, the perfect outfit.
Surprise your husband by wearing something elegant and sensual this Valentine’s day. Whether you are going out for a dinner date or staying at home, pick a dress that will make him say, “Wow”.
Here are five types of dresses you can wear to look sexy for your husband this Valentine’s day.
1. Short Dresses
If you have those legs worth drooling over, it is the right time to show it off. Don’t hide those legs to create a slimmer look. Nothing says ‘fun’ than a timeless wrap dress. Try a soft knit dress wrapped around the body, secured by a knot at the waist and clinched at the bust line, enhancing your curves. It will give definition to your body. An Empirewaist dress with a V-neck will accentuate your bust and make you look more desirable. Wear dangling earrings instead of a neck piece. A V-neck Empirewaist dress will shift the attention from your belly to your beautiful neckline. Choose monotones or colour-block Empirewaist dresses.
2. Maxi Dresses
Maxi dresseswill bring out your femininity, and there is no better occasion to bring out the girl in you, than Valentine’s Day. It drapes perfectly over the stomach area. A floral print in Chiffon or Georgette looks splendid. If you are feeling a little adventurous, pick out hues of burgundy and peach. With flats and minimal accessories, you will look like a million dollars.
3. Skirts
Loose, short skirts with elastic teamed with a semi-fit top drapes perfectly to hide the problem spot. Bold floral prints teamed with a neutral shirt and the right chunky accessories will make your man go weak in the knees. While choosing a skirt, go for light fabrics. Avoid pleated and gathered skirts, as they’ll not flatter your curves.
4. Empire Waist Shirts
An Empire waist shirt is a classy alternative to dresses. Team it with neutral colour leggings. A sequenced neckline will be apt for the romantic occasion. The fitted bodice will let the rest of the material drape itself nicely over the body. It will create an illusion of length and help camouflage your heavier lower body. The icing on the cake is that it will flatter almost all body types.
5. Palazzo Pants with Loose Tops
If you have an entire day planned out with your husband, then go for comfortable clothes. Pair your palazzo with semi-fitted tops and let your dress do all the talking. Neutral tones are in this season.Besides, no one should get a seizure looking at all those colours and prints.
Valentine’s Day is all about romance. Dress to impress your man, but also remember that comfort is key. Invest in a good shapewear to give you those extra curves you so very desire. Lastly, put up your best and strut with confidence. Read more

A. Your doctor must have given it to you for a particular reason so I’m just going to advise you to follow what she says yet if you have a doubt or you’re scared about anything then why don’t you just prospect with your Dr as to what what purpose are you taking this and what is meant to be done in case you do not take the injection or you do not want to take
