15 Beauty Products You Don't Need To Waste Your Money On
Yes, we know that there are so many products marketed as must-have's and we get drawn to them with a vengeance! Before you know it, your bank balance is reduced to barely anything and you've got too many products to use everyday! Here are 15 products you can do without and still have great skin and hair!
Products, products everywhere. There are glittery ones, pearly ones, golden ones and black ones. There are promises and claims, deals and steals. We want every new lotion we see and every new hair product that hits the stores. Because, why not? What’s not to want when you’re promised porcelain skin and lustrous hair in exchange for some of your money?
But here comes the buzz-kill: You are wasting your money!
We’re not saying don’t splurge on that limited edition unicorn glitter eye palette.By all means, a little experimental shopping to satisfy that deep yearning for all things pretty is a need.
We’re talking about those pretty products that parade around as “essentials” in your makeup, skin and hair care collection that are actually not really needed at all, especially if you want to save some cash!
Chuck these 15 items out of your shopping list and we’ll guarantee your skin and hair will continue to do just fine. Plus you’ll have a lot more money saved for some alternate shopping!
15 Items You DO NOT Need To Waste Money On Anymore
1. Anti Cellulite Cream
There’s nothing that will get rid of cellulite apart from exercise, hydration and a healthy diet. Spending your extra bucks on a cream that claims to get rid of it is basically you just buying another bottle of moisturizer. You can ditch this one.
2. Split-End Serums
Hair once split cannot be joined back. Any serum that is doing promising that your split ends will magically merge and become one again is just weighing your hair down. Get a trim!
3. Stretch Mark Removal Creams
We say embrace your stretch marks because how cool are nearly holographic stripes? Besides, stretch mark creams do not work. Because, if they did no one in the world would have stretch marks ever. But look at most of us sporting our tiger stripes.
4. Makeup Remover
In the days before make-up remover existed, the fair maidens did perfectly fine with some water and face wash/ cleansing milk. Even a few drops of coconut, olive or almond oil works just as well to remove makeup.
5. Expensive/Higher SPF Sunscreens
We know prettier packaging, sweeter smelling things come at a cost but if you want a sunscreen that protects you from the sun and just that, pick one that doesn’t burn a hole in your pocket. While choosing the SPF value here’s what you need to know:
SPF 15 blocks out 94% of UV Rays
SPF 30 blocks out 97% of UV Rays
SPF 50 blocks out 98% of UV Rays
Basically, we’re saying that whichever one you pick, you almost equally protected from UV rays.
6. More Than 5 Makeup Brushes
Don’t get sucked into the mesmerizing world of makeup tools before you first educate yourself on your needs. Dominic Skinner, a senior artist with MAC says that the basic number of makeup brushes you need are FIVE. A foundation brush, a powder/blush brush, an eyeshadow brush, a small brush to blend eyeshadow and concealer and a sharp, flat brush for any precision work. That’s all you need for a complete makeup look.
7. Eyelid Primers
This is specifically for you, the girl that follows every beauty blogger on the planet. Do not be lured into buying an eyelid primer. Although eyelid primer is not totally useless, you can do without it for sure. Word is that you can achieve that smooth, crease-less and long-lasting eyeshadow look with concealer as a base too!
8. Super-Expensive Anti-Ageing Products
No one is going to have 18-till-I-die-skin no matter what! A good cleanser and moisturizer are sufficient to keep skin in its best condition no matter what your age is. Think you need products with Bird’s saliva, snake venom, caviar, unicorn blood... Erm, we’ll pass!
9. Lip/Body Scrubs
We’re all suckers for product packaging, admit it! However, lip and body scrubs are essentially sugar or salt with carrier oils and sweet smelling scents. This means that you can make an equally effective and yummy smelling one at home with ingredients readily available in your kitchen.
10. Fancy Hair Products
True your hair will smell heavenly and looks great but then you have to deal with product buildup and the dependency on products to keep your hair tame. Regular oil massages, drinking plenty of water and eating protein-rich foods give your hair the TLC it needs from INSIDE. Because beauty on the outside and on the inside is GREATER. (and lighter on the pocket).
11. Whitening Toothpaste
Surface stains, goodbye! Whitening toothpaste only removes stains on the surface and doesn’t really tackle the real problem of full, yellowed teeth. It would be better to get a professional whitening treatment done instead.
12. Oil Blotting Papers
These are little sheets of thin paper that remove excess oil from your face. Tell me, is this possible with a tissue? Yeah, that’s what we thought, too. No thanks, I’ll keep my money.
13. Toner
You can leave out toner. Toner is best for people with enlarged pores and overactive oil glands. If you are one of these people, then you can go ahead with using toner. If not, here’s one thing less for you to splurge on.
14. Body Firming Lotions
You know how every woman on the planet has some jiggle?( The ones that work out too!).Yeah, so there are lotions aiming to get rid of this jiggle and are actually making tons of money because “it’s worth a shot”. Truth is, the only way you can reduce the jiggle is if your carb intake is lessened and your gym visits last consistently for a long time.
15. Facial Masks
Honestly, these are so fun to do at home that we’d recommend actually not chucking these out completely. However, these are just good for a once-in-a-while skin pick-me-up and your skin will do just fine without them. Masks help soothing skin after a clean-up or facial so maybe indulge in these as often as you would indulge in a professional facial.
There you have it, more money for important things like cake, shoes, travel and clothes (in that order!). All this and still sporting healthy skin, that’s a good deal don’t you think? Read more

Rangoli Slush
Slushes are among the things kids love these days. When they spot a slush dispenser in shopping malls, they can be quite adamant about having one. But, often the serving size is so huge that, as a parent you are likely to get worried about their sugar intake. The next best thing you can do is create it at home and serve in small glasses. Stunning to look at, fun to make, you will be surprised how easy it is to create it at home.

Preparation Time
Cooking Time

5-10 Minutes
00 Minutes
Ingredients
2 cups crushed ice
3 tbsp blue curacao syrup
3 tbsp strawberry syrup
3 tbsp orange syrup
Method
Step 1
In order to make crushed ice at home, wrap 2 cups of ice cubes in a clean muslin cloth. Beat it with a pestle, so that the ice breaks into small pieces. Now immediately put the broken ice cubes into a mixer jar and give it a quick whizz.
Step 2
If you feel the ice is melting, add the ice crystals in a large bowl and keep it in the freezer for 15 minutes before moving ahead with the rest of the process.
Step 3
Get your syrups and 3 serving glasses ready. Take the ice bowl out of the freezer. Fill one third of the glasses with the ice crystals and drizzle the blue curacao syrup equally into each. Stir it for a few second. Add another layer of ice crystals and drizzle the strawberry syrup. Repeat the process and top it up with orange syrup.
Step 4
Serve immediately. Enjoy!

Momma’s Girl to Womanhood to a girls mother : A complete circle
Womenhood i guess it rings a bell to everysingle womanout there ! Itsnot thefirst time you started with ur periods no thats not womenhood its biology ! But infact when you saw the power you have in you as a woman to be yourself
independent free to lift other women who are besides with and behind you to your and their best potentioal.
The moment when you knowthat you no longer want to be thethe traditional make food , make tea , smile please bride to be ratherwhen you accept that yes household chores are a part of both of ur lives and not only you. It doesnt
define you !
It is your choice wether or not you wish to bear a child , be a housewife or be a professional or be all . You my dear are always complete.
Womenhood is something passed from generations to generationsfrom mothers, sisters , bestfriends , aunties and daughters to eachother lessons to grow ,nurture , empower ,help , care and love self and the other woman !
I had read somewhere that a great woman is someone who fixes other womans crown while handling her own and i guess that is what we all should do . Celebrate the true essence of being a woman celebrate life and celebrate the little happiness we get
by being a part of each others life.
As we grow we realise that how our mother has always been right about so many things little or big !
Entering this new phase of motherhood i now realise why our mothers care so much why it is always them who are worried. From listening to her first heartbeat during the ultrasound to hearing her roar when she was born i knew life is going to be different.
In that moment i realised why it is important to appreciate other females because no one goes through any of it easily ! I myself am a doctor by professionand ive seen so many women from all economic background of different ages some happy
some unhappy some married some unmarried some with soecial kids some without kids some troubled with their lives, families and some unhappy with themselves but above all when it comes to standing up for each other they are always there to help
even them whom they dont know . The random grandma who gives u a smile while you are in bus or the college going girl who gives you seat in loval ttain when you are pregnant or the lady whom you have never talked but she sees you struggling with
ur child and comes to you for help. The boss who scolded you but ur co worker takes you for coffee to calm your nerves . They are everywhere and i guess it doesnt harm to be nice to each other as that is the least any woman can do to other .
On any given day id love to teach my daughtersimple lessons justas my mother taught me that no matter what you are always loved , show kindness be compassionate and donot worry aboutfittinginto glass slippers but ratter
learn toshatter glass ceilings!!

A. I’m sorry I’m unable to understand your query as you haven’t given any detail about it so whatever the situation is you should get a check with your gynaecologist the doctor would be able to give you better help in whatever treatment of precaution you need to require further

A. It depends on moms and babys health I feel and suggest It's better to check with your doctor and follow their advise. That would be one of the best and safest option for your baby as of now. Take care.
